"Visiting Munich during the hottest days of the year may not be the best idea. Fortunately, there are beer gardens – and not too little of them. The fact that we landed in one of the most beautiful and carelessly guided Sunday evenings in early August is pure coincidence, a happier with it. The Zamdorfer Wirtshaus with a large guest garden and a light-filled winter garden is located in the middle of a quiet, well maintained residential area between the districts Bogenhausen and Messe/Munich Riem. All around a beautiful old mansion area and a lot of green space. Only Manko: there are no parking spaces, so that almost all guests are looking through the residential area and surely don't give the residents any pleasure. I suppose almost no one uses bus or tram. The Zamdorfer handles the corona regulations and measures, yet completely relaxed and without stress. Before the otherwise open access to the beer garden there is now a small improvised barrier that is respected by all guests. From there one becomes a free one from an adretted, cowardly receptionist in the Dirndl (best reserved! Table led. Shortly after 6 p.m., we also get a shaded table under old trees without reservation, after which it will be brittle and not all aspirants will find a place. Distance is kept enough on all sides, if a guest implements himself by himself, is carefully corrected. The flash, fixed, attentive and ready-to-be service staff conveys a convincing cordiality despite mask and precautions. Even the access to the toilets were super-resolved. The gentlemen pass through the guest room and through a side exit directly into the beer garden. The ladies are led differently. It's all shattered with cleanliness and cleanliness. The Zamdorfer offers a large selection of typical Bavarian dishes and bread times (white sausages, onion roast roasts, pork roasts, baked breads, obazda with small excursions into the international cuisine (Currywurst Tyrol with frits, guarka with pita bread). The scavenger is sharply fried and, after Cordon-Bleu-Manier, it is filled with strong strength (there comes the mountain cheese with full splendour, the resulting dumplings are artificially tanned and very finely spiced with rosemary. With the mighty beetle, there is also cream in the game – and a considerable mountain of crispy, aromatic roasted onions. All visibly and perceptibly homemade, without convenience bonds. The supplement salad comes with convincing freshness and crisp ingredients. Quality and quantity ensure maximum enjoyment. At the end, only two balls of ice (2.60 euros) fit in, which are already half melted on the way from the kitchen to the guest garden. In addition, a powerful espresso (2.20 euros and a hazelnut spirit from its own production (4.50 euros), which flashes through its chocolate caramel and nougataromes. A completely successful, perfect, delicious meal. The inn is visited by all ages. Thanks to its spaciousness and its large sandbox with its own play equipment, the Zamdorfer is a true Eldorado, especially for families. The current hit among the Kiddies: a plastic lawn mower, with which the whole gravel garden is filled with joy and zeal. A mobile ramp is available for wheelchair users. There is no day of rest, warm kitchen is guaranteed from 11:30 to 22:00. What more do you want? If I lived in Munich, I would certainly be a regular guest!"

"Charles Lindbergh, this is the Hilton Airport Restaurant. About 1⁄2 years ago, friends asked us if we wanted to go to Route 66 Buffet every Saturday. I'm honest, the description on the internet doesn't sound bad, but there wasn't enough for me to pay 48€ (without drinks). The dishes sounded somewhat “simplified”. It turned out another friend was 50. Birthday celebrated there and we were invited. Of course, it is clear that we agree. Even in a snack bar we would have gone – who pays, creates; and I am so glad! Otherwise we wouldn't have come to taste. You can park in the parking lot, from there you can reach the hotel and the elevator and go to the EC in the lobby. However, you do not feel at a hotel in the lobby, but you feel like in a hallway at the airport. All scary large and high ceiling, lots of glass. However, if necessary, it is appealing. The bar is also located directly in the lobby. Behind the bar and the seating area of the lobby is the very large restaurant Charles Lindbergh behind a glass front. The door is opened at 6:00. On the right front left is the reception and some service staff are ready and led to the table. Even though many couples and groups come at the same time, there were hardly any waiting times. The restaurant is divided into 4 areas. Once the buffet area is very spacious from the place. And there are 3 seating areas that are separated by visual protection etc., and you lose the feeling of space. I like the ambience very well and everything goes very well and quiet and the clothing of the guests is more elegant. At Route 66 Buffet, a singer with guitar has a pleasant background for music and an excellent piano player (even if the song was too loud). In the meantime we were 3x there, twice Route 66 Buffet and once to the Fish Market Buffet (every Friday. It seems that we have now seen 3 completely different service and kitchen teams. And really every service worker is perfectly trained. Some of them make it possible to delete empty plates and glasses that you do not get. Not all the time, but between time and again you will be asked if everything fits and tastes or if you still have wishes. To the buffets per se: Absolutely gigantic, which is built. A plate is not even half empty, it is already filled. It is considered very clean at the buffet. The quality of all foods can be absolutely described as high quality and I have only positive reports, too tastefully. Almost identical to both buffets are the mixed salads, bread, cheese plate and ice cream. Of course there are fish and seafood, whether smoked, salads, sushi, soup... and at the fresh station naturally roasted or grilled etc. The oysters are no longer in the shell, but very good. Some supplements were also available, such as baked potato halves, rice, fennel oranged vegetables, barbecue vegetables. The only fish dishes (if I can remember, were an ingenious smoked duck breast, thin cut and chickens on the hot counter. I think it is only suitable for fish and seafood lovers. The desserts were also a dream. Small glasses with creams, mousse... cakes, brownies, fresh fruit salad, fresh fruit and chocolate fountain. Route 66 Buffet was even more extensive! At the hot counter there were freshly roasted: RIESENgarnelen (here is finally the name , lamb, red snaps, pork fillet, beef steaks, chicken breast... Supplements: sweet potato run, potato corners, onion rings, foil potatoes with chili con carne, bacon beans... For yourself: Miniburger (with super juicy and delicious beef and mini hot dogs. In the cold and warm appetizers: various shrimps and shrimp salads, caesar salad, wraps, tortillas, nachos with many dips, chopballs with tomatoes salsa, honey lemons chicken, Bratbeef, Cole Slav, bean salad, corn salad, peasant ham, sandwiches, bagels... As already mentioned, everything is very delicious! We were all super enthusiastic. Further information: The toilets are located outside the restaurant in the hotel room. The small digestive migration is quite good; Toilets very well maintained. Fish Market Buffet every Friday Route 66 Buffet every Saturday from 18:00 22:30 3 hours free parking in P26 48€ per person In addition there is also a buffet breakfast, Sunday brunch, feast brunch and a dinner for two from Sunday to Thursday. From me a very clear recommendation if you have something special to celebrate or just want to enjoy culinary."

"At the first moment one thinks if the really dear Steakhaus has no table free: such a trouble! But some times this is also a real lucky case, because only that is why we have come to the idea of going into the Beefroom61. The pictures and reviews at google have been very appealing and so we were positively excited. Immediately upon entering we enjoyed the friendly welcome and the beautiful ambience very well. Also the view into the menu and the monthly card awakened the anticipation of a delightful evening. Here you will find some dishes that are not found on the menu of other steak houses. The choice was not easy for us, even if my husband and I first made a visit to the classics to make a direct comparison. My beef tea (bread in a teapot and served with tea cup, with a fillet spear and garlic baguette) was sensationally good and also the Bavarian Dry Aged Filet with Gratin and Karotten-Speck-Püre has thrilled me. The Beef Tatar and Striploin of my husband have also been great. Our friends chose the Sashimi from the tuna and then a dish from the December Card and a vegetarian dish (Jackfruit on Red Coal and Shitake Pills) and were delighted by everything. The service was discreet, attentive and friendly. The waiting period between the corridors I felt very good. The preparation, presentation, quality and taste of the food was perfect. We are in the upper part of the price. However, most appetizers and main dishes are appropriate. The supplements, sauces and desserts, however, are too expensive. Nevertheless, this could be our new favorite steak house, we are looking forward to the next visit."
