"Located in the "Kuhviertel" (Kreuzstraße Münster), my hopes for an interesting experience were high. Bars and restaurants in this section tend primarily towards students and "Die Carvete" is the oldest student tavern in Münster (run by students). It is a shame I didn't...know this, as I found a small table in the front at a window and didn't look at the back section (though tumultuous jabbering could be heard from there). It calls itself the "akademische Bieranstalt" (the academic beer institution). The menu is actually quite extensive for a tavern and food is well student-oriented (meaning very attractively priced and mostly quite simple). Nonetheless, the quality was absolutely ok. They also offer several types of beer as well as wine and other drinks. The service was friendly and very attentive. The decoration (at least in the section I was in) is extremely interesting and a must-see (I won't give it away). The only negative thing was the Wifi on offer. It was necessary for me, as Vodafone only offers GPRS here and I had a couple of emails to write. Getting on the Wifi is unnecessarily difficult you connect and are then directed very slowly to a Facebook page, where you have to "take your pants down" (luckily you can tone down the exposition a bit), then you have to like the Tavern and then you are given access. I've never quite experienced an onboarding process quite like this. To make matters worse, the connectivity is unfathomably slow. Sure, you're not supposed to be on your phone while you're here. So forgetting about the Wifi experience, the Cavete is a place you need to go to if you visit Münster! Be aware, though, that they don't open until"

"There's nothing quite like sitting down for an all you can eat buffet, knowing that you've got a good two hours on the clock to devour as much food as humanly possible. I take the challenge seriously; I purposely don't eat for most off the day, but, at the same time, keep drinking water so that my stomach doesn't shrink... I'm paying 15 euro for this... I'm getting my money's worth. It's a serious matter! SOOOOOOOOO.... I do not take kindly to rude and inconsiderate waitresses telling me that they are closing an hour early because they want to go home! They seemed to wait until we'd eaten too much food to back out of the deal, before telling us to hurry up and get some food because they wouldn't be serving any more. They then watched like hawks as we piled up our plates, one final, solemn time, before swooping in and stealing the trays from under us.... never to be refilled again. Eventually plucking up the courage, through both anger and hunger, I pointed out that the opening times specifically allude to the restaurant closing at 23:30... "Ah, yes... that is our closing time." Was the answer.... "Oh, good." I thought to myself "Then I will have another plate of your finest noodles please...""Oh, no that's the closing time, but the buffet closes at 22:30" Pure idiocy. (To add insult to injury, at 22:30 we were then asked to pay and the lights were beginning to be turned off). Imagine walking into a supermarket, which closes at 17:00, at 16:30 only be to told that they stopped serving 30 minutes ago, but you're more than welcome to stay. Stupid. I'll admit, most of the food was divine... when it wasn't being snatched from us, like I imagine most of the waitresses' dreams were when they were forced to take a job they clearly hated.HOWEVER, ironically, steer clear of the fresh food... the culinary expertise seems just about capable of opening a pack of chips and some rice, but when it comes to actually having to turn on a grill and cook meat and noodles from an unprocessed state, they seem to run into a little bother... In fact, if you happen to enjoy using chopsticks but are dismayed to find that there are none left, I highly recommend taking up two noodles to the fresh section and asking for them to be cooked... if they are as burnt as mine, they will be sufficiently hard enough to act as substitute chopsticks for your otherwise delightful food! I'm not going back there."

"the Imperial Palace in Munich is a Chinese restaurant with a good selection of buffet. they can choose to eat only or for a few euro more, including everything they can drink soft drinks. we were here to eat the 80th birthday of my oma with the whole family and decided to make the variants with drinks. costs the whole 20,90€ per person. alcoholic drinks they have to pay extra, which is very cheap, a beer costs only 1,00€. first to the facility: the restaurant runs through a normally large door with glass and frame. from the beginning there is a theke. here they can get various things like fish or meat roasted. on the right of it the buffet is built in three sections. there are appetizers like salat or sushi, we eat roasted noodles, duck, fish, croquettes, sauces or crab chips. we can wind bag or pudding there too. the selection is large and for everyone there is guaranteed something. on the right side of the buffet are the drinks for everything they can eat in small refrigerators. also here is the choice neatly there is a great choice of alcohol-free beer and rudel, bitter lemon, maltbier, energydrinks, cola, apfelschorle and bionade. they can also get various coffee specialties such as espresso, cappuccino or latte macchiato. my tante had actually reserved us an additional room, but that was only a separate area with two long tables, of which we could take a place. on the other table sat another birthday party. the food was tasteful in any case very good and they were well fed. I also found that they have played happy birthday and got the birthday boy, so my oma and those on the neighboring, a muffin with chocolate coating and amazement. the toilet system was also very clean and well maintained and it was always seen that toilet paper is present. I can definitely recommend the imiserpalast in the siniest."

"Location Prutt is located centrally nearby the main train station of Muenster. It is a more or less small cafe/restaurant with a nice interior in a reduced and functional design. Due to limited capacities of seating it is recommended to make a reservation, especially for dinner. Food and drinks The menu offers different appetizers, soups, dishes, pizzas and deserts. There is also a daily changing lunch special available for a very fair pricing. For vegans the situation is quite confusing: the menu states that vegan meals are marked as those. But a deeper look into the menu reveals that none of the meals is marked. Moreover the detailed description explains that only on request meals are available as a vegan option. What Prutt makes special is the usage of fresh goods from suppliers with local production and that the meals are preferably offered as a wholefood variant. Moreover the menu contains a detailed descriptions section that explains the restaurant's philosophy and production methods and that lists the restaurant's suppliers. During my few stays at the restaurant for dinner as well as for lunch the quality and the taste of the meals was always excellent. Service In general the service staff was friendly and helpful, but some members could be a little bit more attentive. Price The prices at Prutt are ok and compared to none-vegetarian restaurants in Muenster absolutely competitive in total a good value for money. Summary I definitely recommend to go to Prutt to have lunch or dinner. I am already looking forward for my next visit to Muenster area."

"It is also not surprising that yesterday with more than 100 guests we have the 100. Birthday of the neighbor. Now one could assume that we are particularly old here at the farm in Münsterland, but it is not. Sabine and Uwe celebrated their 50s. Birthday (and that makes together 100 years) and got a : Walk of Fame with a red carpet, which I found especially original. But now back to my anniversary evening with Peter. As always, the reception was warm, almost familiary, with handbeat. Half six already occupied about 50% of places speaks for themselves. The small weekly changing card always offers surprises. Peter recommends a spring salad and comes to my table with two beautifully chilled white wines and lets me try. I decide for a French fruity Colombard Sauvignon, who dances on the tongue like an invitation to the not yet existing summer. He lets the bottle stand on the table and that is of course seductive because I only want to drink a 0.1. Of course, I'll still give you a chance, though I'm with the Rover, but he knows the way. The spring salad 5,90 with grilled warm green asparagus lying on a radish unfolds a pleasant aroma, a fruity Ruculasalat mates with my beloved cherry tomato, surrounded by slanted hauch-thin white asparagus. A Kleck's strawberry rhubarb sauce forms a sweet contrast to the Vinaigrette. The young service takes care of me in a touch while the boss works in the kitchen. The children at the side table are also smiling with extra wishes according to their own table. I have already described the establishment in my last report. The main course recommends Peter a black halibut for 15.90. It comes in two different variants on the plate, once covered with bacon and once fried with Japanese panko. The plate is a poem, I'm in the 7th sky. The two fish variants give a good contrast to the spicy risotto, which is surrounded by a paprika tomato sauce and melts on the tongue like a symphony. The whole is decorated with Rucula. What else can come now? A small dessert consisting of a Strawberry Robber Küchlein for 2.80 with a chocolate-chruchy-bot crowns the senses and if I stay still further here, the wine bottle will empty and I have to take a hotel room. A successful menu surprise evening with a creative kitchen with lots of attention to detail and with a well-being guarantee, thanks for this great evening Peter's dining room ."
