"This is our 3rd visit here. We booked the 7pm sitting, and when we arrived, everyone was waiting to get in at the same time. Service was slow to start with, but once it got going all was super efficient. We were the only non French in the place, and we were sat next to a lovely group of French friends (over 70's). They had been protected from us and the other table, by a plastic screen, such a caring thing for the restaurant to do. The food was very nice, my whelk starter was lovely, my main however (seabass) was quite overcooked, and the prawns were dry and rubbery. Such a shame as the flavour was really good. Hubby had the beef, which was very nice. we both had pain perdu for dessert and it was gorgeous. The staff are very friendly here, everyone was helpful, and we did have a great evening."
