"seemingly a relatiw new, Italian restaurant, but good ristorante can not exist enough. obviously the name, the ambiente and "no pizza" want to convey a more sophisticated claim, but naturally also awaken a certain expectation in the gas. the first impression of the (great) inner is also quite fulfilled, but then the first fertilization comes through the cheap paper napkins. the menu is manageable, and above all the appetizers and pasta dishes are not necessarily as interesting and do not really stand - as perhaps hoped - from those of others, partly also only pizzerias. the supplementary table also offers fish (as main feed), for which the same applies. the tagliatelle with gorgonzola sauce were good; fried as desired, but not hot. the supplements in the form of kartoffels and piquant spinat were above the duch cut. the pinot grigio was too expensive at 6,50 € for 0.2l due to the maximum average quality. the espresso is good, but also not hot enough. thus the entire impression was just mediocre. but I see quite potential here. You may have to decide what you really want. if you want to make more sophisticated cuisine, this must also be noticeable with the dressing and especially with their preparation, and then a main dish may possibly even be 1 - 2 € more expensive, and it should also show up with the petty (e.g. serviettes, although eating is of course much more decisive). as a positive example, I would lead the carpaccio. or if you want to say more (although on Friday night, it was just half-filled locally), then you might have to take potential guests who are afraid of the shock, reduce prices a little (and perhaps even offer pizza). but I personally hope that you follow the first alternative somewhat more consequent, especially since the service was accommodating and competent. in any case it deserves a 2nd chance."

"the last time I was in this restaurant almost 20 years ago. through a happy coincidence I had recently enjoyed visiting this restaurant again. I have to say that nothing has changed since. the service is friendly, fast and fulfills all...wish the eating is very plentiful and especially very tasty. as 20 years ago I ordered a special steak (10oz. filet, filled with ham and cheese,) creamy pfeffer sauce, croquettes, broccoli with Bernais sauce. delicious, just delicious. my wife was for the first time in this restaurant and ordered a mixed grill plate. she was thrilled. only the amount was too much for them. If they expect to pay a lot of money for the amount of food, they would be disappointed. here you can get a lot of good food in a pleasant environment with friendly service staff for little money."

"we were there with 11 people for Sunday. from 11:00 to 12:00 was breakfast buffet with a lot of choice. many typical Polish dishes and look delicious. at 12:00 clock were additionally warm meal times set up, increasing the selection of dressings even more. coffee, tee and champagner is included in the price as much as they want. it's so much that you can't even taste half of it. "Wir waren abends gegen 19 Uhr dort. Mit unseren Kindern (8 und 11). Der Kellner der uns empfing war zunächst sehr sympathisch. Wir nutzten das gute Wetter und setzten uns auf die Dachterrasse, Der Tisch war komplett leer, was uns erst einmal nicht störte, allerdings sahen wir später, dass andere Tische zumindest mit Besteck und Serviette eingedeckt wurden. Das selbst zu organisieren fand ich nicht schlimm, aber das Buffet war bereits ziemlich leer und alles was fehlte wurde nur auf Nachfrage überhaupt aufgefüllt.Champignons kamen im Laufe des Abends nicht mehr dazu, Kroepok auf Nachfrage. Das Sushi war ebenfalls leer, auf Nachfrage meiner Kinder wurde extra etwas neugemacht. Dabei konnten sie sogar zusehen. Der Koch drückte meinen Kindern durch de Durchreiche einen Teller Sushi in die Hand, den sie mit nach draußen brachten. Beinah am Tisch giftete dann ein Kellner meine Kinder an, dass das Sushi für alle sei und sie das so nicht hätten nehmen dürfen. Ich wurde noch nie zuvor in einem Restaurant dazu aufgefordert- schon gar nicht nonverbal - eigenhändig das Buffet aufzufüllen. Zumal eine Platte für das Sushi am Buffet stand und meine Kinder einen herkömmlichen Teller in die Hand gedrückt bekamen. Auf meine Frage warum zwei Kinder dann vom Koch persönlich einen Teller bekämen und wessen Aufgabe das Füllen des Buffets sei erhielt ich lediglich von anderen Gästen die Antwort, dass dies nicht selten so vorkäme. Meine Kinder gaben den Teller komplett wieder in der Küche ab und hatten auch kein weiteres Interesse mehr das Buffet aufzusuchen. Davon abgesehen, das auch das falsche Getränk - trotz schriftlicher Bestellung- zum Tisch kam, war das Essen insgesamt leider auch nicht besonders gut. Zu guter Letzt stellten wir dann noch fest, dass unsere Rechnung auf 4 Buffetvollzahler ausgestellt war, was bei der Vorgeschichte einen wirklich bitteren Nachgeschmack hinterlässt."

"The food is really good and the prices are fairly low for Thai food. The menu itself is pretty similar for different types of meat and fish, but maybe this is just the basics of Thai cuisine? Starters are great like the Bangkok mixed plate,...and you can't go wrong with the soups. My favorite dish is the Bhed Pad Phrik Bai Krapauw, duck with chilis and garlic which is served with rice for only euro 14,90. Strange enough this is not a very busy restaurant. The restaurant itself is maybe not the nicest around, but it does look clean inside. The staff is really friendly and helpful which is around Oberhausen in restaurants a thing which is hard to find. Bangkok restaurant is close to Oberhausen main railway station, which takes you by bus or tram to Centro Trypp Hotel) within 10 minutes. NH hotel is just around the corner, couple of minutes walking distance. A must try when you stay in Oberhausen."
