"Another subjective report with its own perspective: After several recommendations, I could finally take a picture of this restaurant/(Bistro?). Although my visit to a working day – and indeed outside peak hours, between 17 and 18:00 – was immediately clear that at these times it is sensible to book a table if you want to eat and talk relatively quietly. But you can risk it differently. Locality is very clearly divided into two. There is a rather small separate room that offers a good place and is quite quiet. The tables have benches and there are thus closed quiet seating groups, but there is no possibility for another seat from the outside (e.g. wheelchair). The main room has this charm, where many visitors stand so much and so often called "Urig". It is the charm of a living but cozy “old corner pub”: dark wood, narrow, alive, conscious, full of chatting and sounds. To perfect this old picture, only the tobacco smoke swads would be missing. Despite the many background noises and anger, it is not even loud because it is probably too narrow and equipped. But today I wasn't on one of the noble tables in the Separée. I liked one of the more lively places offered to me on the Theken pitch. The menu had to offer very different potato dishes and salads. There were vegetarians and vegans, but also carvings, steak and other meat dishes. Some were already very exotic with curry, with fruits, with coconut or sharp to piquant. Meat, beans. It was easy to find something interesting. I chose the daily soup, a pumpkin seed cream soup, which was also quickly served extremely hot. Nevertheless, it had the consistency of a solid porridge – almost a pudding, but it tasted good. Since it was served in a bowl cup, it remained hot for a long time: finally, this neat part was offered for the small price of 4 euros. It's hard to complain. This also led to the fact that I did not manage the daily dessert. Shame! A vanilla cream with chocolate really loved me. My main dish was the potato skating “Texas”, which tasted very good and neatly saturated. A beautiful cheese crust on the run is not only delicious, but also makes good things. This lead time costs 15.30 Euro and my drink 2 Euro, so I am all for approx. 20 euros had a delicious meal. The service was impeccable: very friendly and attentive. I can only say that there is no problem here for accessibility, which is sometimes presented as given. Barrier-free means not only steplessness that is given here – apart from some seats that can be reached with a slim belly and physical fatigue, even quite well – also space for moving/maneuvering. And here it is quite clear. A very narrow, intensively used main course leads to the toilets and a very narrow vestibule, with doors open outside, probably breaks off any idea of accessibility. But overall, this place has its own charm in the best city center location with optimal transport connections. In the old Go Local Ratings scale, the 5 stars were still quite easy to get, as 5 stars meant: “reachable”, but today it is much more difficult (but better)."

"PHKF= Horses Have No wings! And no, I don't have the touch of a clue where that name comes from and why this tapasbar wears it. This name has no Iberian prestige, or should there be a story unknown to me? But it feels like the PHKF has always been at the Kamp in the middle of the Osnabrücker pedestrian zone. And what lasts for a long time can't be so bad. I've been there more often, but so far I haven't presented a report to the community, I'll get it. We wanted to eat a bite in the evening at the cinema and before. That's why my wife and I turned our steps to downtown and looked where we would find a place. It was before 6:00 and many restaurants were not yet open. If you look from Nicolaiort towards Kamp, you will see the following: This is the eye-catcher in front of the PHKF entrance. I looked at my wife, we haven't been there for a long time, it was open and tapas don't last so long. It was agreed and we entered the good room. The interior goes towards Iberian Shabby Chic, dark it is, candles light. The high tables down along the wall of rough halls, on a hall a few tables for 2 and 4 people, much does not go into the bar. We asked the service for a table for us, and the last not reserved high table was our, otherwise everything was occupied with reservations. We turned to the table and found ourselves under the protection of San Jose: There should be nothing wrong with a good meal. The cards were handed to us. There is one side cold and one side warm tapas, plus a few salads and that's it. In addition, on a table a few day recommendations for those who prefer the classic food sequence with starter and main food. We ordered a drink and chose a selection of tapas. Too many must not be taken, because the portion size exceeds the Spanish tapas bar by some, three to four to be well saturated after consumption. I pick out two tapas here, unfortunately it was just too dark to photograph all tapa in a quality that can be published. Meatballs in a saffron sauce. The little meatballs were made of pork. The juicy sauce fits perfectly in the interior and greek outside. Favorite of the evening: Artichoke hearts with anchovy fillets. That was a delicious combination. Both were dressed in a tomato sauce. The slightly acidic hearts, the quite acidic anchovy fillets and the tomato sauce were an extremely tasty combination in this tapa maker. We also had potatoes with Mojo Verde, tomato rice, salted almonds, and a small salad. Everything in a very tasty preparation. The plates all come together to the table, bread to it and you feed yourself tastefully through the dishes. The young ladies in the service are not trained professionals, but at our time of visit it was not very full and so they were not challenged. We had no reason to complain. An espresso finished our tapas menu and we were able to break up to the cinema in time before the start of the film. Conclusion of this short visit and the short review: Easy to return to a beautiful tapasbar. Delicious dishes. And a very good PLV for the bid. We'll be back. And especially with regard to the following evening, the star of the PHKF seems very bright........I have to look at the worst movie of my life after eating because I had diffracted myself to the majority decision per Fifty shades of grey. I just want to say here, after about 20 minutes I thought desperately looking out for a bottle of liquor to initiate a cognitive self-deactivation!"
