"What a shame. This was a new find and we had high expectations. The menu looked very interesting, and the courtyard was quiet and pleasant. Unfortunately, our whole experience was a huge let down. When we sat we gently asked if we could have the childs food first, which they agreed to, nevertheless after asking and asking.... we had to wait 40 minutes for it. We were sitting for nearly 15 minutes and nothing was happening... so we said can we at least have some bread. (just not attentive, should we really have to ask? A table arrived literally just before us and they had their starter and main course before our starters even arrived. The service was just painfully slow! It was very frustrating and not enjoyable at all... in the end after waiting 45 minutes for the starters we had no choice but to leave before the main arrived. A smart restaurant owner would have done something to try and correct the situation, off a free drink.... something/anything!.... but anything at all. The above is based on fact. There was absolutely no excuse for what we experienced. If the kitchen is not capable of managing the number of guests they seat, then they need to deal with this issue. As a minimum, they could have notified us on arrival, we are running slow today and there is a wait.... but nothing .... This restaurant is very poorly managed all round. Maybe the experience is better on a quiet day when they have very few customers.... but we wont be wasting any more of our time trying to find out."
