"I am reviewing this restaurant again. Why you may ask?As they we're here originally (rue Hector Malot) then moved to the rue de Charenton and then back here once again some things have changed. The chef who is as great as any French chef spends days cooking, weeks finding products and as much time using his intelligence and imagination to combine different ideas from different parts of China. There is also something of his new land, that is the French Nouvelle Cuisine. For 35€ you'll get a tasting menu with 5 different plates as well as a dessert. Our week's menu was :1 - Starter fried ravioli with a sesame sauce2 - Followed by a chicken based egg drop soup carefully prepared according to water temperature 3 - Cold chicken and pickled vegetable also home made over a period of days4 - Fresh shrimp with fresh peas5 - Most amazing pork ribs fermented for a few days with a side of a kind of porc rillettes on Chinese bread6 - An inventive dessert with Chinese fruits.I will include photos of all of these dishes, but more than just feast your eyes you must feast your taste buds. It's a real shame that such an excellent world quality chef doesn't have more clients.NO THIS IS NOT a Chinese take out place, this is "haute gastronomie" and really deserves some attention. Now that we all know great Japanese food we should allow the Chinese fine cuisine to have a chance, n'est-ce pas?"

"I think the best way to check this place is with me and the visit of my wife in this restaurant. from outside it looks like a beautiful decorated, dimily illuminated Japanese restaurant. the menu released delivered image and prices that seemed to them. to offer a meal with about euro. the nightmare began when we came in. we went in and greeted the waiter with a friendly hallo and bonjour, but did not receive a greeting, but simply turned around and pointed to a table we had assumed that he wanted to sit there and so we did. the restaurant is clean, which is beautiful. After we had set ourselves the waiter, two menus muddled before us and then left nothing to say. we decided what we wanted and, above all, wanted to be hot tee, because we were underwear for the occasion. we asked the waiter about hot tee or green tee and he replied that they did not have and continue to show us the drinks menu. a few things here. is it just me or is it strange that a Japanese restaurant has no tea in her menu? I understand that we are in paris and not in japan, but really not a tee? but okay, so we asked twice for water, because one lady asked us after the waiter took our order when we needed something and I showed a picture of dissatisfaction. By the way, the waiter brought out warm towels that were nice because they were hot, but they were placed again and taken away without word. for those who do not know in many Japanese restaurant would be the waiter to say, domo or please, if the hand towels as a sign of courtesy to use the towel in their free time. I had a Tempura Udon. the udon was good, the suppenbase, my opinion was salty and the tempura had too much flour. to be exact, the tempura was about and inch wide, but the meat was only from one inch wide. my wife had the stirred fried soba noodles that were a bit on the salty side seem like too much soy sauce, but that is personal preference. the dizzying dump we had for appetizers were beautiful just to say the truth. not even after eating came the waiter asked whether something was in order or whether we needed something, in which the waiter was standing at the bar that talked with a cook most of the time. the other waitress and hostess. I felt very dissatisfied with eating and service, as I had great French and American food and service for the last three days. from the point of the waiter to take away the food to sign the bill, the waiter finally said something in which he said thank you when he took the teller to eat my credit card, and took my signed bill. I must say I felt a little discriminated because I and my wife are asian and we felt despised when we were not greeted, but all the others we saw come after us who were randomly not asian looking, were all welcomed by the same waiter. this restaurant has actually other stalls, I can't stand for the other stalls, but the one in faubourg has me definitiw bad service and average eating tonight."

"12€90 for the buffet at noon and 15€90 at night, at paris? It's the cheapest Japanese restaurant I know (ex æquo)! valid for the whole france, in fact. It seems to me that there are the same dishes as it is at noon or at night, but I don't stop at the price. Indeed, the sushi bar has three excellent points (for me). First, there's everything I like in Japanese food: skewers, sushi and makis. with, as a bonus, good Chinese noodles (that there is in any Asian buffet, of course, but they are not always good, so as to emphasize it). Then it is quite rarely crowded, something that has always surprised me when I went there (I would say about 15 times,) because it is still good and cheap. In the end, it's so much better for customers, who can eat calmly. Finally, if a dish is exhausted, it is usually restocked in the next few minutes. At worst, it is reported and they do what they need.Nothing to say about the service, if it is only very discreet. Come on, for chipoter: too discreet? But I don't mind, I'm not coming for that. cooks may not speak well French (Chinese, not Japanese, as usual). I've found their pins a little dry, but not to the point of getting bad. At worst, they're just a little less good than normal. It's not a big one, but it's a detail because it's a buffet. No matter what size, if you can (re)serve it!I recommend it to you, but don't go too often, otherwise I'm going to have to book this restaurant and say there's too many people!"
