"We were looking for a restaurant that could cater for 50 in this area, we had read the previous reviews on tripadvisor and so decided to pay them a visit, Alejandro couldn't have been more welcoming, we discussed menus and he was happy to alter the menu in anyway if we wished. We couldn't get 50 in the main restaurant but he was happy to overflow into the lounge area and said he would leave the doors open between the two rooms. The location was just what we wanted as there would be 50% of the people who had travelled from the uk and therefore the stunning views surrounding the restaurant gives a sense of the real Spain. Alejandro kept in contact by email and whatsapp all the time prior to our booking and answered any questions that I had. On the day of the meal, and although the road is very narrow we arrived by coach, the tables were set out lovely and the Restaurant was warm and welcoming on chilly day. The food was plentiful, presented lovely and of a very high standard, all the food was really tasty and you could tell that everything had been homemade. For starters we had ensaladilla merluza, (a type of mayonnaise salad with cod), it was very smooth and really tasty, this was accompanied by bread, calamari in salsa (squid in an onion sauce) goats cheese salad and croqueta de pollo (chicken croquettes) these were placed placed on the table for all to share. The main course was a choice of roast chicken or hake both of which were delicious. Vegetarians were also catered for and the food equally as nice, artichokes, courgettes, aubergines with honey for starters and vegetable pallea for main course. All the ladies in the group thoroughly enjoy the meal and ambience of the restaurant and I can't recommend it highly enough. So if you're in the area definitely give it a try, they also have rooms as well so you can stay overnight if you wish and I believe they have information about walks in the surrounding hills. Thank you so much Alejandro for a wonderful lunch and making us all feel so welcome. Wendy"
