"We decided to try Wesby for our traditional Friday-night Chinese food, as our usual spot, Canton House, is temporarily closed due to a fire incident caused by a third party. We ordered the salt and pepper box for £17.50, which turned out to be an overpriced pizza box filled with a lot of chips, a carton of rice, a few small pieces of chicken, some onions, seaweed, and curry sauce. It was, without a doubt, the most expensive portion of chips we've had in a long time. While the taste was okay, we were accustomed to the salt and pepper chicken from Canton House, which has the best wings we've ever tasted, along with their generous salt and pepper boxes full of chicken, small ribs, chicken balls, and spring rolls. We honestly felt quite shortchanged given the price we paid. We wanted to give Wesby a fair chance, but this meal just didn't justify the cost, and we won't be returning. We'll be sticking to home-cooked meals until Canton reopens. No hard feelings towards Wesby; I can see that you are lovely, hard-working people, and I'm sure your other dishes are quite good.
