"Chaotic from the start by the waitresses not being coordinated, we still have no idea who was actually responsible for our prominent seat inside the restaurant, near the main window. During the hour we were there we had three diferent servers. The drinks came fast, but without cutlery or napkins. We ordered two simple pasta dishes. My wife asked the waitress about the contents of her pasta to ensure she understood what she would be getting. It was served by third waiter, who noticed we had no cutlery with which to eat so we waited for several minutes while he went to find us some from the outer area.One of the key ingredients in my wife's dish was supoosed to be basil, but we could not see any in or on the pasta, it looked like a plain tomato sauce pasta. She caught the attention of one waitress who had served us our drinks and asked if the kitchen had forgotten the basil. Her response was total lack of interest, to say she had no idea and she was not responsible and just walked away. Both pasta dishes were without any flavour or taste, completely bland. Despite being different dishes, described with different contents, both looked the same with the same tasteless tomato sauce, and same consistency.We ate enough to take our hunger away, paid and left. Looking around, many people had taken the pizza choice which seemed of a ridiculous size. They were so big the restaurants plates couldn't handle them, so many were folding onto the table. Very odd.Great location in the centre of the old town, so a tourist trap, but with the quality of food that wouldn't survive long if needing to support purely local patrons.It is always very disappointing when you pay professional prices and can make better at home."
