"Unfortunately last night, we have had the worst service and food. It started that we couldn’t get a table until 7:15pm when we arrived it was dead. We were sent to the table and the waitress did not have a clue about the menu. my partner asked what lagers were available and she didn’t know she showed him the iPad! It was steak night and she had no idea of it. I asked her and she didn’t know! We were handed menus which we couldn’t read as the lamination was so bad we couldn’t see it We Weren’t offerd any drinks when we sat down, The 3 staff were taking at the bar all night so after 10 mins I had to get up and ask to order a drink. The food we eventually ordered 10 min later I was told they didn’t have pollo Kiev” so I had to wait again to re order. I ordered a prawn starter with a side salad. It came out as a main course with tomato and rice and mozzarella leafs and balsamic?? We then had to get up again to ask for another drink as no one done check back My partner ordered the chicken Diane which was flatter than a piece of paper. Waited 5 more mins for the chips which are supposed to come with it by then he’d almost finished his piece of chicken. Then 20 mins after food finished we were asked if we wanted to take it home??? As I didn’t finish mine! We were offerd a voucher which was very kind but we were looking forward to a child free night and nice food. To top ot off we had to wait again for the bill which no one came to our table yet the restaurant being quiet! We got up went to the bar and they said goodbye (we hadn’t paid the bill) I said we haven’t paid they laughed. We paid and left, on leaving I turned round and they were all talking about us and staring at us as we left! Never felt so uncomfortable. Not the night I would have liked. It was a disaster from start to finish. What a shame."
