"We dined in for breakfast and had an incredible experience. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect rating of 5 out of 5. The service was equally impressive, also a solid 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful, creating a perfect backdrop for our meal, so it gets a 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the Avocado Toast and the Steak – both dishes were exceptional!"

"Came for a twilight Spa on a Tuesday night. We were initially booked for March but due to lockdown we had postpone it. We had a 2 course meal in the ozone restaurant included in this. We were booked in for 6pm but arrived to the restaurant early which wasn't a problem. We got seated quickly and had our order taken fairly quickly too as it was extremely quiet in the restaurant. We had an option of either starter and main or main and dessert, we both went for the dessert option. Food arrived quickly and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The portions for the mains were huge which is always a bonus!! I had the beef pad Thai followed by the cherry bakewell cheesecake. My mam for the chicken terriaki stir fry with rice and the sticky Toffee pudding. Although it was lovely, we would only come again if it was included in a spa day as we both thought the prices were extremely expensive if you were going for the meal alone."

"Called in on a Monday evening (happy hour). I had garlic mushroom on puree for starters, lamb chilli tikka masala with mushroom pilau. My wife had onion bhaji with chicken dupiaza. Both were utterly delicious and the service was not just professional but very warm, friendly and chatty. The staff in the kitchen were obviously enjoying their shift too we were sat near the kitchen. This isn't a criticism as happy staff produce great results and Ashoka serves really nice food. This is our fourth time here we aren't locals and every time has been spot on. Three pints of Cobra, a garlic naan plus the above a bill for under £55. So add great value to the great food and great service thank you for a great night at the Harbour."

"Had 3 dates over bank holiday weekend. Great pub. Great staff very friendly and warm. Especially the young lad who works there, who never stopped smiling. Plus Lauren shes a diamond. Only met her once as she knew my friend who I was with . Just the fact she remembered me and took the time to have a conversation. Cracking place. Oh, also the horse racing event went down really well. Never seen anything like that before. Was a major hit with the kids. Definitely brought costumers in that night. Look forward to the next one. Also you sell the best pork scratchings lol. Hands up to your staff."

"big fish and chips that are fish beautiful and my little boy thinks that are sausage and chips are the best he has ever eaten, every time we come to seaham, we will come here. it always seems that something quieter than the center and also a beautiful grass area to sit in front of the being and look at the view."

"The food at this restaurant is of good quality, and it’s perfect for quick visits. Dining in has a pleasant atmosphere, especially considering it's primarily a takeout spot. However, the staff at the counter could be a bit friendlier, and it would help if they clarified their menu offerings. For example, I was given some scraps on my chips, and I had no idea what that was about, which was quite confusing since I've never been offered that before."
