"This was our second time at dinner at the Nigl's Popup Restaurant in Krems, and it was all as wonderful as our first visit last week on Valentine's Day. Both times we chose the 4-course dinner with wine pairings. Both times we were impressed with the attention to detail that Chef Bertram pays the preparation and presentation of the food from his kitchen. Also impressive was the service we received from our server Kristof. He shared his extensive knowledge of the wines cast for each course and told us about the grapes, the winemaking process and the details of the harvest. Kristof also told us about the construction of the new Nigl hotel in Seftenberg (which is the reason for the popup restaurant in Krems). It sounds like it's an extraordinary property. Hopefully we have the opportunity to travel back from the USA when the construction is completed."
