"The food was delicious. I am accustomed to fast food restaurants where my meal usually takes over 5 minutes to prepare. However, at this restaurant, my lunch was served promptly. I was able to relax and enjoy my meal without feeling rushed. Overall, everything was great and everyone was friendly and smiling."

"Placed a delivery order here, took 1.5hrs to turn when advised it would only be “30 40mins”. When the food arrived, the packaging was absolutely demolished, everything was turned upside down! Look at the photos, dishes all split out into the bag. The Dishes themselves, did not taste right. The photos of the Lamb Rogan Josh just shows the amount of Oil in the dish, it was appalling! The Lamb seemed strange from the offset, shredded and scraps type of meat! No surprise of the outcome My entire family including poor kids all experience intense food poisoning, ill for a good week! When flagged to the restaurant through constant calls and even turning up to the Restaurant, they were dismissive from the get go. The did not want to acknowledge or admit to any wrong doing. One of the staff told me that “It’s not their fault my body can’t take the amount of oil and poorly prepared food, my body needs fixing!” The cheek! I wouldn’t advise or recommend this place to anyone, not only because of the food, but the shear arrogance and atrocious customer service provided. I’d never eat here again, if the restaurant doesn’t want to listen let’s see what Food Standards Agency has to say about it!"

"I starved on Sunday night and lam's kitchen expression was fortunately open. I ordered a chicken stable and a won ton soup. the aromen were good. my son ordered garnelen fried rice and mix Veg soup, he ate everything until the last reiskorn and said it was delicious. eating was nice and hot boiled, which was great when it was a cold night."

"Once seated, we placed our order promptly as we were quite hungry. Unfortunately, we waited for over an hour for our food to arrive, all the while having to repeatedly request water which was often ignored. We had a young child with us who is sensitive to black pepper, and we specifically asked for the dish to be prepared without it. However, our request was disregarded, and when the dish was served to the child, she had a terrible reaction. When we brought this issue to the server's attention, there was a lack of apology and accommodation. To make matters worse, a service charge was added to the bill without our consent. When we asked for it to be removed, the staff did so without inquiring about our concerns. Overall, our experience at this restaurant was simply dreadful."

"I have visited Herschel Weapons 4-5 times, and I can confidently say that it is the friendliest place I have ever been to. This quirky pub is equally welcoming to locals and visitors, making it a popular spot for those away from home. I enjoy the decor of the walls adorned with pictures of the past and present patrons of the pub. A visit to the restroom is a treat with its old paper cuts and comics. However, the highlight of the pub is undoubtedly the bartender. Their service is fantastic and they serve the best pint of Guinness I have ever had. Kudos to Tom and his team. We will definitely be returning soon."

"Read the reviews about this place and immediately had an opinion about what I was to expect. Generally most things were spot on. Price: the price was what you would expect reasonable. Two people can eat for less that £30 Shisha was £10 for standard shisha or £15 for premium. Generally not disappointed. Service: The staff were very friendly and were accommodating to our needs bringing food downstaird while we had shisha. we were a very happy bunch and they eventually caught up with our banter. Food: This is the great thing about this place the food rocks. we were hungry and the food hit the spot. Thingling every one of out taste buds. They were out of steak but it wasnt the end of the world. I loved the atmosphere and the ambience. They dont serve alcohol but you dont need alcohol to have a good time just good people. Will definitely revisit when next look for a place to eat. Well done The Grill Garden for ticking all the boxes for a great restaurant. 5"

"This restaurant has a strong sense of community and they are introducing a new vegan menu, which the man at the counter showed me over the phone. The food is flavorful and delicious, different from other Indian cuisine I have tried. We ordered Chana samosa (large portion for those who are hungry), papdi chat, vada pav, and samosa misal, and shared everything between the two of us. The total came to around £15 and we were satisfied with the portion size. I highly recommend this place. Please note that seating is limited, but we did not have any issues finding a seat and they also offer takeout."

"Friendly welcome, wardrobe was taken from us, good table at the window. After the order, the first gear came quite fast, even before the aperitif, which we then thankfully dispensed with. No word of regret. Closing in a superb soup. Very good vegetarian main course, on the one hand, dry, lukewarm “fish net” with dry 3 kinds of fish, on the other hand, the pieces of the Schmorgurke but tasty. After paying the bill no one sees, no greeting, no Nix."

"there are some positive aspects of this site and will concentrate on it. ambiente: very personal, secret, polite and sober. they don't need a lust to have a good ambiente, that's cuddly here. 5/5 star menu: decent dishes and good mix of chicken, lamb and bark, as well as bbq and rice. 5/5 chicken karhai: good taste esp those who want to taste correct karachi karhai from a UK perspective. Of course we don’t taste the same as “Super-Highway for those who know what I mean” but still kudos for the effort and good authentic taste to bring to the table. 5/5 haleem: has not tried, so it cannot comment. nihari: again we can not expect to bring the taste of zahid or javed nihari here, but still very good labor and good choice also. good color and good tarka. 4.5/5 naan: for those who come from karachi, yes, it was what we see as tandoori roti or the secure doodh wali roti. for those who are from other regions their tandoori roti is what we chapati (red atta roti.) 5/5 gajar halwa: could not take pictures, but was delicious 4.5/5 thanks to the owner (to avoid being twitched or trimmed, I don't mention his name) but bhai many thanks to for such good experience and for us to sit a place. what a good memory this place brought. nostalgic! Thanks again and we see each other again."

"I can say this is the best Syrian/Middle Eastern restaurant in the UK! It has great location in downtown Slough. The restaurant is so tidy and clean atmosphere is very unique with Syrian antiques everywhere lovely levant decorations There are seatings both downstairs upstairs as well The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I had mix grilled meat platter with meze salad/ tabouleh. The food was exceptional , tasty fresh. The prices on other hand are very reasonable. I’ll say cheaper than other places and definitely better quality. I also tried their other dishes shawarma/kebab wraps which is so good ! I Highly recommend this place for both individuals and families. I wana to go there again again."

"My partner suggested this restaurant for a quick lunch on Saturday, wanting something different from fast food. I can now highly recommend this place! It is clean, has a good menu, decent service, and the food is great tasting. I had the best wrap I have had in a long time - a big spicy chicken halloumi wrap with salad, chili sauce, and garlic mayo. My partner had a halloumi wrap that she said was delicious, and my 2-year-old had a box with chicken and chips with ketchup. There is a small seating area, which is sufficient for today's customer flow but may not be enough during a busy lunchtime in the middle of the week, especially if offices in the area are back to full capacity after COVID. I would highly recommend this restaurant."

"We have visited Aromat many times. The place is hard to find first time because the entrance is on the side and the appearance from the main road is that it is closed. We always have their ‘soup of the day’ and never had the same soup twice and never been disappointed. The clientele are mainly Polish but we are seeing more people from other backgrounds giving it a go. A good selection of traditional Polish cuisine. I normally go for the large portion of ribs with mashed potato, you can have chips, or the potato rosti with goulash. The side plates of salad that comes with most dishes is really tasty. As before you never leave hungry and they give ‘doggie bags’. Really good value for money."

"We enjoyed an amazing Sunday lunch at this lovely pub and Eaterie. Some of our group wanted a traditional roast and 2 of us were looking for tasty vegetarian options. We were not disappointed! Gorgeous roast beef with all of the trimmings and for the veggies amazing tasty tart with veg. We were even made a special veggie gravy! Lovely ambience and super helpful, friendly staff. Highly recommend and we will be back"

"One of the best fish and chip places around! I just had another amazing meal of perfectly cooked fresh cod and chips. Since moving to Burnham, I have tried all the fish and chip shops in the area to find the best one, and this one consistently delivers delicious meals. It's convenient to be able to call ahead and order, then drive up and easily find parking before picking up my freshly cooked fish and chips. A big thank you to the whole team at Joe's for consistently great food and service!"

"Many moons ago when I worked in Slough a work colleague introduced me to this place. And there begun our love of the biryani and vegetable samosa. Ate here last night and although the vegetable samosa was excellent the biryani wasn't as good as normal. Rice looked like a longer grain but the flavour was also different. Please bring back the old biryani! This isn't the most conformable place. Designed to eat and go. More cafe style.....service is always OK. Don't go expecting Michelin starred food. It's also not like the high street Indian restaurants. This is traditional food.Will definitely return with high hopes of their 5 star biryani returning!"

"I recently received a delivery from Herbie's Slough, a takeaway that I have been patronizing for many years. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. The pizza was bland, the chicken goujons and ribs were inedible, with the ribs being undercooked, posing a potential food safety concern. Despite immediately raising my concerns after delivery, it took several days of follow-up before I was able to speak to a manager. When they finally contacted me, the staff member seemed dismissive, claiming that no other customers had complained about the food that night. I was not only displeased with the food but also the customer service. I highly recommend avoiding this establishment at all costs."

"Superb every time. This is our 5th visit. Traveled over an hour to get here and only special occasions. Today was for our sons birthday. Marraym was our host and pleasantly greeted us with a warm smile and friendly manner. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The steaks came out super quick, and cooked to perfection. Portions were brilliant, and we had to get a doggy box.. My family all said it was the best steak so far.. so each time it gets better.. Marryam was amazingly attentive throughout. She was close by but not intrusive. We were well looked after throughout our dining experience today. Thanks Marryam, we were so pleased you looked after us so well."

Refused to replace my food and drink. Uber only refunded £3 for the split drink despite me having pictures of the food and receipts that they gave me no option to send. I used to order every single day at work and sometimes at home on the weekend. Never again"
