"best pizza I had in southampton (after dominos the pate and clear benchmark for pizzas. at least for me, but then to their trips they can afford to be) the owner makes it all on their own faust even delivery still remains ready to offer an excellent service and is always happy to accommodate them where he can. for the value ratio to quality and taste, I had no better pizza in southampton and believe it to me, I have tried most of the outlets, however temporarily (yes I am over the burger van rotated pizza van, which appeared on a well-running road of a day) or shocking huge, as the pizzas are served in a west quay restaurant, which are literally twice as big as the plate they are. - No, they'll keep it. I'm quite traditional with my pizzas I like to be simple, well made and tasty, for the menu have enough options, so I can have so close to my favorite choice and be cooked for it well and finally to choose the ability to float or extra options that are today relatiw standard, but not for being taken for granted! so for example teig starch as I prefer, a thinner basic than what they get by default, and additional toppings, since it is really nice, exactly the pizza they want and not only the best match from the menu. Luckily, at bitz n pizza each order is made and before them freshly passed on their specific requirements or on a set option directly from the menu. and although I had always made pizza from besides a series of cold drinks, dips and by-alats, this small hidden gem offers the most typical hot almost food dishes that they would get in bedford place or st Mary’s on the same or better worth. the last pizza I had, which I had voted on perfection, was so good that it was almost on a par with dominos, but to a third of the cost."

"Coeliac review: Preface to say this was my first time eating here gluten free, but I used to eat here often as one of my favourite restaurants. I was asked about allergies on arrival and stated gluten for myself, the server explained scanning the barcode on the menu for allergen info. I asked whether the foods listed gluten free were cooked separate or cross contaminated and was informed that anything fried was cooked with gluten so “it depends how sensitive you are” (to which I stated I was coeliac so it was a no go) but this was a huge red flag. It’s also important to note this is not mentioned on the allergen menu next to the items. I was informed the pizzas are cooked in the same oven on a separate tray and pasta is also separate so to stick to these options. I opted for pizza. The toppings were lovely but unfortunately the base was very undercooked and doughy/stodgy. The server did not return after initially bringing us our meals, it ended up being a senior staff that came over to clear our plates as we had been waiting a while (it was busy as a Saturday). He asked how the meal was and I gave him my honest feedback about the pizza base, and he kindly omitted this item off the bill. Overall: Do not recommend for gluten free. Red flags on cross contamination as this wasn’t explained when I stated an allergen and I had to enquire more. Pizza express is much nicer for gluten free and there is one locally."
