"We last ate here in March 2020, just before the pandemic hit. So, we returned with my OH, my nephew, his partner, their 7 week old sproglett and puppy in tow. We were seated in one of the outdoor 'pods ', complete with heating/air conditioning. It was very toasty and a little cosy for us all. We chose the battered fish (IT WAS HUGE! and chips, and I had the fresh crab, samphire salad, chips etc. It was delicious. Nice fresh samphire (not at all 'woody ' as it can be sometimes and delicious fresh crab. Ham, egg and chips was also eaten and enjoyed. The food was delicious, the coffee delicious, the 'pod ' perfect, overall a really lovely lunch. The staff were very accommodating, leaving us 'alone ' for feeding time. Of course we 'll be back!"
