"the rimini has been moved since March and now opposite the old location. the piadineria continues to be very authentic. we had a piadina with cheese and raw ham and a lincer. both tasted very good. the local was a bit narrower and more homely but we felt comfortable and a little like in vacation, especially the espresso is very fine as in italien."

"Agnes and Guido have created a place with a very friendly atmosphere. The personal attention that the guests receive from Agnes is unprecedented. I have chosen the 400 g Rumpsteak from the menu. It came in a pan with a burner accompanied by a nice portion of herbs butter and fries (you can choose vegetables too). You can finish cooking of the meat to your taste in the pan, or eat it rare as served. The meat itself is one of the best in St. Gallen. The prices are friendly too."

"in st. gallen you have to eat a bradwurst at least once! So I went to the alegloggli. the place is probably more beautiful outside than inside. but there is a nice mix of people, students like older customers. I was nice to this quiet evening welcome. a sausage menu ordered: salat or suppe: I have a good veggie suppe. with its traditional ognon sauce and rösti. only delicious. a glass cabernet sauvignon and I was set! total cost: chf 24.50 (18.50 for eating and 6 for wine) there were other dishes, especially various types of cordon bleu and schnitzels. in short, a great place to travel decent!"

"very nice, fully vegan restaurant close to the monastery square. the service was very friendly and you can have a bit of everything for the small, medium and large starving. Unfortunately, the menu is rather confusing and the clarification about possibilities is a little lazy. the food itself was very tasty, all organic/demeter quality what you taste. it was a bit “too healthy” for my taste, all “just” sweet, as I personally like to eat de facto/exotic and prepare this simple, healthy food at home. the weeping prices are quite violent and not clearly declared. for a bottle rose (swiss oeil de perdrix) which is available in the load for 20 francs, will be charged 65 francs! In addition, “foodwaste” was easily commented in a rush, as we had not eaten completely because of the unpredictable court flut... well, all in all very well, but unfortunately only 3 ."

"I went to a drink there with kumpels. at the first round the operation was still very accommodating. when our glasses were empty, the operation did not come anymore. we waited about 10 minutes. then a cucumber went in to give up the order. Inside he said the waiter, he would come in a second. "The long table occupied by 19 or 20 diners suggested that this might be a popular neighborhood eatery, just a block or two away from the Abbey of St. Gall. We checked the menu posted and noted a listing of spargel season specialties we were sold! We...were comfortably seated by one of the small front windows overlooking a window box full of bright red geraniums. The narrow dining room was nearly full by the time we left, with the staff rearranging tables and chairs to accommodate additional parties of six to ten (plus the 19 or 20 still enjoying their leisurely dinner . Now that we 've had dinner at Zeughaus, we know why patrons were pouring in: Excellent food and charming service. Neither of us speak much German (Swiss or otherwise , but our patient server, knowing a bit of English, was an attentive and able assistant, despite dealing with a nearly full house. The spargel that is, asparagus (both white and green is now in season in this part of Switzerland and featured by many restaurants in the area. My choices of asparagus soup followed by asparagus risotto were delicious just perfect. A mixed salad and glass of a local kloster beer rounded out my meal. My spouse opted for the mixed salad, a local wurst with zwiebelsauce (onion sauce and rosti, plus a tall glass of weizen bier. We would be more than happy to return to try other menu items (although it would be hard to pass up another round of the asparagus! , and would eagerly recommend Restaurant Zeughaus to other St. Gallen visitors."
