"we recently had a reservation for 2 people in chez L’Ami paul. at the place: at the beginning we were directly irritated, as there were only places on the day and we really enjoyed the places outside, in the middle of the small old town. it had rained the day, but for the evening there was no rain. the places offered us in the interior of the restaurant, but were also very nice and the ambiente seemed very authentic and friendly. to the least: we were served by a young man who had a somewhat reserved but not rude look. we tried to order in French, but also English was well understood. unfortunately they had to wait a little longer for the drinks. especially negatiw we noticed that all the others in the restaurant a bottle water and a basket with brot before, only we not. to eat: here you can clearly notice that eating was very good. the prices for this were already in the upper range, but were suitable for the quality of food. we had bambas in one way. these were covered with mint leaves and really well. as main food there were for us the duck and the fish (codjau.) (see picture) both were not only very nicely dressed, but really good taste. that concludes: everything you can spend here, a cozy evening with really tasty foods, as long as they do not put too high demands on the service. the two stars are for the same and the fact that we couldn't sit outside."

"Having already used the excellent internet booking site 'The Fork ' the previous week to book Chez l 'Ami Paul in the same village (booking made at 5pm for 6.30pm that evening), we deployed the site again to book Le Sansot. I received a confirmation from 'The...Fork ' at 2.30pm for a 7.30pm booking. My husband then received a phone call from the 'patron ' of Sansot to say the restaurant was full. I sent two emails to the restaurant to ask why the booking was being shown as honoured by The Fork yet not by the restaurant but received no reply. After a third email asking him for an explanation and saying that it would inform any review I wrote I received this: Hello I m very sorry but internet it is not a real professionnel way to make a reservation especially few hours before to come! we are very busy and a small place next time just call me 06 18 01 06 70 but I 'm not sure we are the kind of restaurant for your request.... It seems perverse in the extreme for a restaurant to sign up to an internet booking site and then tell a potential customer that this is not a real professionnel (sic) way to make a reservation . The sign off appeared to be one of those snide and rather boring asides interpretation you are not the sort of person to appreciate the sophistication of my wares . As I pointed out to him in my reply I wasn 't sure what kind of restaurant he was running but we had already been to the Colombe d 'Or, Chez l 'ami Paul and the utterly delightful Auberge de Tourettes (to which incidentally we are going to again as a party of seven in the next few days). I 've no idea what the food is like at Le Sansot and won 't be finding out but to treat potential customers so shoddily won 't cut it when economic times become lean."
