"It’s a very “young” place, we were definitely out of age…. But a very pleasant experience. Nice ambiance, good jazz music, very kind staff (all very young too). You understand it is a meeting point for young people who want to have a drink, a bite to eat, a nice chat without spending much. There are two cocktail menus and really the embarrassment of choice, they’re so unusual and intriguing. We had one called Gulliver and the Seven Dwarves and another called Snow White and the Queen of Cards (even the names are lovely) and they were both good and not too alcoholic. The menu features tapas, burgers, sandwiches and the old-fashioned Piedmontese pizzas, “Al padellino”. We tried almost all the tapas, they are so interesting we probably overate…. They are very original and well presented, mixing different tastes and daring unusual but successful combinations. They were all good and the right size, not too big and not too small. We could share them all and have enough. The one I liked less was the sea bream whose delicate taste disappeared in the “caponata”. The dessert is not mentioned in the menu, they make only one kind every day. We shared a very different tiramisu, less sweet than usual and more at my taste. The staff is kind and efficient, prices low. There is a dehors for warmer days. An extra I greatly appreciated was the temperature, cooler than in most restaurants and more respectful of the environment. Keep your cardigan on and you’ll feel comfortable and easy."
