Ich finde das Restaurant 1A, esse aber auch gerne Fleisch Nachträglich 5 Sterne und sorry für die Unannehmlichkeiten. ______________________________________ Tolles Restaurant vom Ambiente und sehr freundliches Personal. Leider gibt es keine echte vegane Alternative. Der vegane Burger schmeckt gut, ist aber zu teuer und hat eben so gut wie nix drauf. Hier wären weitere Burger mit veganen Patties (Black Beans, Beyond usw. wünschenswert. Leider gibt es auch kaum Beilagen, die vegan sind. Vielleicht wäre veganes BBQ wie zum Beispiel Brisket auf Glutenbasis (siehe Gaz Oakley auch mal eine Idee. Für Veganer ist es am besten, wenn man sich 3 Portionen Pommes bestellt."

"Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich und freundlich eingerichtet. Ich habe eine sehr wohlschmeckende Tomatensuppe und Spaghetti aglio e olio gegessen. Die Zubereitung der Spaghetti war leider nicht nach meinem Geschmack, da sehr viel Öl auf dem Teller war und die Schärfe leider gefehlt hat. Die Portion fand ich auch nicht sehr groß. Die Bedienung ähnelte leider eher einer Schlaftablette. Ich erwarte in einem italienischen Lokal mehr italienisches Temperament."

"Leider viel zu übertreuert bei minderwertiger Qualität. Die Tapasplatte fuer 40€ ist schon ein starkes Stück. Bei der Pho haben mir die typischen Gewürze (Sternanis, Cardamom und Zimt gefehlt), hat leider eher nach einer Instantbrühe geschmeckt und das Rindfleisch war Gummihaft, aber nicht zäh. Das FLOA Getränk war lecker, aber auch hier für etwas Maracujasirup und Lycheesaft keine 6,50€ wert. BENJO war eher nicht unser Fall. Einrichtung ganz nett und Service sehr freundlich ! Edit: Danke fuer die Rückmeldung. Aber da auch ich aus dem Norden komme, kann ich nur sagen, dass Cardamom sehr wohl reingehört. So habe ich es von meiner Familie „vererbt“ bekommen und so wird es auch in Vietnam gemacht."

"We had a big disappointment when arriving at Boccaccio with a colleague from the States that was visiting Ulm. We have eaten at this restaurant several times and had very recently enjoyed a very nice risotto with octopus so we trekked the rather unappealing road...to get to the restaurant, there are heavy road works at the moment, just to discover that several TV have been installed in the restaurant, including a large flat screen in the main room. We were horrified and the most strange thing is that neither the waiters nor the owner could understand what could be possibly wrong. I can hardly believe that anyone wanting to enjoy some nice food and share a conversation with guests or friends will want to do so in front of a football match. For God sake. Will they all scream and cheer and blow some funny trumpets while customers are dining??? There are plenty of bars in Ulm where people wanting to enjoy a football match can go but one would expect that people wanting to have dinner in a fine restaurant would be spared the game. We left in disbelief much to the annoyment of the owner whom unceremoniously showed us the door instead of at least trying to explain that all customers demanded the massive TV installation or whatever. On the contrary, I am getting the impression that the philosophy of this place is that the restaurant is an extension of their living room. That may be fair enough for entertaining your friends, for free, but it is not so for paying customers. It is quite a shame because I think the cooking is good in this place but the rest is definitely not. I doubt that I will ever come back."

"Wenn ich Lust auf einen Burger habe ist das Ronnie Biggs meine erste Wahl!Die Begrüssung war wie immer herzlich und Locker. Zum Ambiente:Amerikanische Diner Optik mit offener Küche und einer Bar mit zahlreichen Gins bestückt. Dunkle Holzoptik an den Wänden und blanke Holztische.Die Burger durchweg alle schmackhaft und saftig. Die Fries leider nicht selbst gemacht, was aber durch ihre Schaufelform wettgemacht wird, da man mit ihnen die köstliche Chilli-Cheese-Sauce wie mit einem Löffel aufnehmen kann (Beides in Plastikkörbchen serviert). Leider muss ich einen Punkt abziehen:Der Coleslaw salad ist ein wenig zu bitter geraten, und das "pulled pork" erschien mir nicht aus einem Smoker zu kommen sondern normal im Ofen gegart und "gepulled".Zum Service: Locker, charmant, zuvorkommend, nett und schnell.Fazit:Durchweg gut umgesetztes Burger-Lokal Konzept. Ich würde mir noch wünschen in Zukunft die Burger von einem Teller zu essen, da es praktischer ist und Kleidung, Nachbarn und Tisch schont. Für die Fries ist es O. K."

"on the occasion of the Christmas dinner with my family, my mother had chosen the ulmer pub as locally for the 25.12. for lunch in the circle of the family and reserved for 9 to 10 people. However, as we had been on sickness only with 7 persons, we were allowed to eat before we had at all on the table (on which anyway no more than 8 people language would have been comfortable to eat and eat for example, I have been able to enjoy carvings in the small kvr (see my other reviews) at a cheaper price with a greater portion and taste more demanding. in this context, it should also be taken into account that the kvr is rather located in the high-priced segment; accordingly, the ulmer economic house is then simply too expensive. "It was me and my partner’s birthday so I took him to this restaurant and we’re disappointed. First of all I’d like to state that I’m Full Thai born and raised in Thailand) I knew how hard it is to find authentic ingredients here...but this restaurant is a Chinese copy version of Thais. None of the food or service are Thais. The waitress is Chinese who speaks very little (almost 0 Thai) I’ve been traveling a lot and tried Thai restaurants all over Europe and Australia, this by far the worst. I feel angry that they don’t even bother to learn real Thai food. Yes the waiters dress as Thai, restaurant decorated as Thai style but food? Thai. They can’t even make a simple Thai fried rice (hence the bean sprouts and carrot with strong fish sauce smell and oily rice). I couldn’t imagine when people walks in here for the first time and don’t like Thai food becuse they didn’t have a good real one. It’s okay to want to open Thai restaurant even if you’re not Thai but please respect us by making ‘our’ real food to customer. I feel sad when I see people hate thai food (from the fake-twisted Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine) and figured out how good it is when they tried real ones. Take my advice if you want real Thai food, you won’t find it here. Waste of money and time. Noodles were undercooked and greasy with a bunch of oils that they use! For god sake it’s Thai food not Chinese!"

"After a visit incl. The market was hungry. The recommendation of Caribbean sun210 was right. It was already after 2:00 and we were grateful for the opening hours of Da Franco. The weather was also ideal for the beautiful terrace. When we arrived, we were kindly greeted by a male waiter and asked if he should open the parasol for us. Also out here the tables were covered with white fabric tablecloths. The drinks came very fast and the dishes were quickly received. The menu also contains some recommendations. Some of them we take. 2 x Antipasto Mediterranean Sea a 13,50 1 x Stracciatella 4,50 Fresh hot pizza bread is served to the appetizers and Italian white bread. The soup is huge and traditional – very delicious. The appetizer for 2 people is heavenly, even up to the third, almost impossible to create. Buffalo mozzarella, squid, grilled vegetables, ham, melon. a 13,50 undisputed 4 points for the appetizers. Main dishes: 2 x Linguine Vongole a 13,50 Super delicious fresh tomato sauce with cherry tomatoes, many mussels 1 x Pappradelle gambero pesto a 14,50 The pesto fresh and homemade, many huge cloves, noodles al dente. 1 x Trigolini Bietola, homemade ravioli with red beds fill in poppy butter sauce Also here all 4 points for the dishes. "I had read the reviews on TripAdvisor and cabbed over to this restaurant from a hotel near the Bahnhof as it was a comparably hot day in Ulm and I didn't want to chance the Stadt-Bahns. We had called ahead for a reservation and got a nice table. The service was extremely friendly with unmatchable ambiance as it’s one of very few air-conditioned restaurants in Germany. We were served crispy Pappads with different types of sauces before our lunch arrived. Our cab driver mentioned it was a hidden gem of a restaurant in Ulm that is mainly known by locals, so if visiting, make a reservation and enjoy the excellent food and service in a relaxed location. It is not so far from the Bahnhof, but much quieter in comparison, extra-ordinary food and far less expensive."
