"This HAN restaurant is located in a great place. It is the inner part of a square which is separated from the street hence it is pretty quiet. The food is okay. If you like to eat big meals go for all you can eat for 46 CHF. The service was well and handled by speedy staff."

"We went to Brunnentor on a double date last Saturday and had a great dinner. As a hotelier I respect restaurants that not only get it right, but do so consistently. It's easy for Michelin starred restaurants to do it with their ridiculously exorbitant prices and their large kitchen brigades, it's much tougher to achieve this level when in a local casual dining restaurant with limited resources. I have been going to this place for years and the food service is always great, always the same. As always, I ordered a large pork schnitzel with carrots and spinach only, no fries. The veggies here are absolutely awesome, perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection. I love the combination of greasy deep fried schnitzel with umami spinach and tender carrot batonets. If you are into your fries then yes please order them. They are seasoned with a flavour enhancer and are pretty tasty. For starters we ordered 2 Nüsslisalats Mimosa (lambs lettuce salad, chopped boiled egg) and a steak tartare. The salad was fine, nothing special, the dressing tasted store bought and this could easily have been tossed up at home by a novice. I don't normally order Steak Tartare as I am simply not a lover of raw minced beef. Carpaccio I enjoy but not tartare. Nevertheless I did taste some from my friend and it was tasty, perfectly seasoned with a hint of spice. For mains everyone ordered a schnitzel and everyone enjoyed what they were served. Fried thinly battered and bread crumbed pork or veal. For desserts we ordered a Black Forest ice cream ball and a coupe, both good. This is our local and we will return. Thanks very much."

"Wir wurden von einer äusserst unfreundlichen und respektlosen Angestellten bedient. Bestellt wurde ein Caesar Salad und erhalten haben wir einen hauptsächlich in Olivenöl gebadeten Salat. Daraufhin wurde das Gespräch gesucht und ein neuer Salat bestellt. Als wir uns nachdem verbliebenen Salat erkundigten, begann die bereits unfreundliche Angestellte Ihre Stimme zu erheben, behauptete Sie wisse nichts von einem Salat und wurde dazu noch extrem ausfallend. Daraufhin nahm Sie sich das anrecht uns schreiend so Nahe zu treten das sich unsere Nasenspitzen beinahe berührten. Auf die Anforderung Ihren Vorgesetzten zu sprechen, reagierte die Angestellte mit einem Verweis des Restaurants. Sehr schade und vorallem enttäuschend. Diese Angestellte hat uns hin und wieder mal bedient, bei jedem mal fiel dies jedoch sehr abweisend, uninteressiert und unfreundlich aus. Diesen Standort der Molino Kette werden wir zukünftig definitiv meiden!"

"Wir sind (wiederkehrende) Kunden der ersten Stunde und haben uns seit der Neueröffnung sowohl im Restaurant als auch mit Take Away verwöhnen lassen. Wichtig zu betonen, der nachfolgende Eindruck stellt primär auf die Erfahrungen mit dem Büffet Essen von LO ab. Das positive vorweg: die Preise sind fair berechnet, die Mitarbeitenden sind freundlich motiviert und das Konzept finden wir im Grundsatz spannend. Es ist uns jedoch aufgefallen, dass wir bei all unseren Besuchen i.d.R. mit rund 3 5 Personen aus dem Service zu tun hatten, was die dürftige Absprache und Koordination unter denselben widerspiegelt. Wir empfanden seit Dezember die Qualität des (Büffet )Essens stetig schwindend. Vormals knuspriger Tofu wird heute eher als lauwarme Pampe geschöpft, und einst zartes Rind fühlt sich zäh an. Deshalb unser gut gemeinter Tipp: bitte auch am Büffet wieder mit etwas mehr Liebe kochen. Und zudem die Prozessabläufe im Service überdenken und das Personal dezidiert den Gästen zuordnen. Wir kommen wieder und lassen uns gern positiv überraschen."

"unfortunately you have to give a star. we waited about 5 minutes until someone comes to us when a young girl passes through, I wanted to order two beers. she somehow ignored us and heard strangers accented. about 10 minutes later, we asked another employee from whom we get the opportunity to order our beer. she said the girl “forged”. it is not fair for the place and other hard-working employees of a young inexperienced (or not willing to work there, maybe she has some problems with people from other countries) to get a star review. but that was our experience, it is not nice to see all the other (swiss) people who are served and got their coffee, beer, drink and we sit long with empty hands. Perhaps it is time to consider that because of the situation they are exposed to tourism, and customers speak other languages. after 15 minutes we have our beer. had to wait 5-10 minutes to pay for it! but it was a little better."

"Unfortunately not recommended. Overall, far too expensive food (86 francs, samosa, nan and two main courses) for which we waited far too long (90 minutes) and which tasted neither good nor Indian. The good rating is incomprehensible. We were absolutely disappointed and will definitely not order again. Online shop: Unclear whether the ordering process is completed or not. No confirmation via email. Delivery: 90 minutes instead of the announced 45 minutes. We received a nice apology upon delivery and a free soft drink. Minimum order is 80 francs, normally it is 40 Prices: high prices, over 30 francs for a main course Food: unfortunately not good at all. Samosa was okay, Nan came in aluminum foil and tasted accordingly, Butter Chicken was lukewarm and tasted sweet, had absolutely nothing to do with the Butter Chicken we had eaten before, Korma Chicken was even sweeter, didn't sound Indian to us Tasted, chicken well, the pieces were not evenly cooked (some hard, some very soft)."

"Eight of us took the Gray line Heidiland and Liechenstein Tour from Zurich. When we arrived in Rapperswill they had a parent/child race going on and it was pouring rain. The restaurant we were advised to go by our tour guide was packed. We looked around town and found Marco's. We decided to have hot minestrone soup and wine. Good decision as we were able to warm up and get dry. We sat at the bar and were able to watch the chef preparing the pasta dishes. We enjoyed talking to some of the locals that were also in the restaurant enjoying a meal. I did not realize at the time that this would be just about the highlight of the tour."

"It was worth the train ride from Zurich to Rappersvil about an hour) for the hot chocolate and a variety of croissants, cinnamon rolls, apple strudel etc. The cafe is on the road from Rappersvil Train Station, just to Macdonald. If you move to the golden sign, it's over there. Not only the hot chocolate warmed us physically, our hearts were warmed up by the friendliness of the locals with their cuppa there. They saw that we were such a large group of 12 people) of cold enthusiastic travelers, a few tables of the guests quickly stood up to give us their place, their drinks ended. It's a cozy place. They could have stayed to socialize with their party as it was a Sunday afternoon. They gave up their seats voluntarily. We were touched. It made the experience very warm. After that you spend some time walking to the Hilltop Church or just walk along the tree fed paving through the water."

"We were not allowed inside the first question was “essen?” “Food?” we were not sure, wanted to start with the drinks and then we would see. We didn’t see the menu either so were asked by the waiter that we need to...go and find food somewhere else. Maybe because we were tourists he didn’t like this. We went somewhere else, had nice drinks, chat, fun, and some good food. Forcing customers that they need to EAT and if not, they can go and “fxxx yourselves” is sometimes off putting and maybe not good for the business. He still had few tables empty and still he didn’t want us to go and see the menus, sit down, relax and enjoy our trip to Rapperswil."
