"Diner really very average given the cost of the addition. Cocktails in which we're still looking for alcohol. Child menu that disappoints for the price (14€ for a chopped steack and Andros compote without any effort of service, served in the yogurt pot purchased in store). Dessert good but really isn't worth its price (Raspberry picket and ice ball at 12€, we expected a real homemade dessert which was clearly not the case). In short, we hesitated between 2 and regretted our choice. Nice server however. A waitress who delivers his mission, no more."

"2 nights to show that we came to eat with family. And we are enchanted with all the reception service very fast and especially very good! Nice warm place we love! 1st evening raclette and dessert at the top 2nd evening gratin of gnocchis with cepe and foie gras with a burger dessert perfect thank you very much for all Menu children well: small flat at the limit would be that there is a small extra choice for children purée? Pizza? Or sausages) but our little return with in mind its delicious sugar pancake in dessert at two recovery Thank you for everything."

"Having been travelling here to ski and therefore to eat for 5 years we have our favourite places to stop, this was one of them until today when the staff let the place down.. On Christmas day the meal was superb and very efficiently served but as the week has got considerably busier the staff seemed somewhat over stretched and very grumpy. There was also a very limited menu offered to us today of just pizza or salad. That said the food we had was very good. It would be useful to have a member of staff clearing and seating to help the rest of the staff during busy periods."

"Very pleasant place Ambiance chalet marked but of good taste Nice and welcoming Staff Too bad that the quality of the products served is not at the height of the frame We were very disappointed by our melted with bits that was flavorless and rather liquid thick in the background and liquid surface even by constantly mixing impossible to bind all) The charcuterie plate sold with was nothing for her and instead referred to the supermarket, especially the white ham that shone as if it were just coming out of her barquette. We cannot judge the rest of the dishes but the fondue is enough, we will not return. It’s a pity we felt well."

"The change of ownership makes me delete my previous review. The service and welcome are still as friendly as ever, but the cuisine is now excellent. Lovely original and particularly tasty dishes with prices that correspond to those of a ski resort. We enjoyed the Mexico pizza, the Thai tartare, the Chicken Burger and the Relax Burger, very good steak and perfect fries, Brik St Marcellin with tasty salad. The homemade desserts are also up to par: tiramisu, chocolate fondant, tarte tatin. There were 5 of us! Everything was perfect from start to finish! Well done, the Relax coat of arms has been restored!"

"We were staying 50m away from this restaurant and had seen it was No.2 on TA for restaurants in Vars. We went twice purely because we didn 't have a great meal on our first visit and wanted to give it a second chance. On our...first visit I felt the staff were a bit rush rush and they seemed to be more attentive towards the 'regulars '. We ordered the soup to start which was very nice. My husband ordered the steak which he said was nice, our daughters ordered the Pierrade where you cook the meat (duck, pork, chicken beef yourself and I ordered the boite fondu. Unfortunately my dish was cold within 5 minutes (i don 't think it had been cooked properly and it was like chewing gum so i sent it back and it basically came back and looked the same except it was runnier. I didn 't eat it! The waiter asked what the problem was and he said someone else had complained about the same dish that evening as well. I was very surprised when we got the bill to see that they had still charged me for the dish even though i had complained however as we had had a busy day skiing i was too tired to argue with them! Instead we decided 2 days later to give them another chance and the whole experience was much better... The waitress (sorry I don 't know her name was very friendly from the moment we arrived. The chef appeared at our table with a few 'amuse bouche ' and apologised for the meal on the previous occasion and thanked us for giving them another chance. One of our daughters wasn 't very hungry and they kindly let her have the nuggets and pasta off of the kids menu. Our other daughter had steak which she said was very nice and my husband and i had the special which was cod with parma ham and pak choi served with sweet potato. It was lovely. If we stay in the same area again we would go back there ;"

"To sum up: an endless, outdated and very aigris wait, cold pasta and cherries on the cake a pattern on the nerves that prefer to close the door to the nose of these customers rather than to assume its twists. Go."

"In the top! There were 12 of us. We insisted on eating indoors. Top-notch service and welcome! What a surprise to see our table in a recess of the restaurant surrounded by windows with a view of the outside. We would have thought we had privatized the restaurant! I highly recommend the smashed burger! Everything is excellent: from the meat to the burger bun. For Snow Queen pancake dessert. I changed the vanilla ball for chocolate (ah, the delicacy! There too. Everything is excellent and I'm a pain when it comes to chocolate! Mild and not too sweet. The best! Price level: very reasonable because we are in the heart of the resort. I highly recommend !"

"So this is a great little place to stop when you have been skiing/snowboarding in Vars and you want to enjoy some sun/hot cocoa/lunch. The owner is a local young lady who gives a fantastic youthful touch to the place. It has kept an 80s...feel and is conveniently located in the middle of the main rides up! The food is what you would expect from an altitude snack bar, not fabulous but not bad and the team is always cheerful! I love stopping there 2 or 3 times in the afternoon...to get a nice tan in between runs! Make sure to be there before 12:30 or after 3pm when French school breaks start or you will have trouble finding a table on the terrace!"
