"Wir waren nach längerer Zeit wieder einmal im Grotto Pedemonte. Scheinbar hat der Wirt gewechselt. Das Grotto selber ist ein schönes altes Steinhaus mit einer grossen Terrasse, welche mit einer Pergola überdeckt ist. Der Garten ist etwas von der Strasse zürückgezogen und ruhig. Bei einem Teil des Sitzplatzes könnte die Überdachung einmal neu gemacht werden.Das Personal ist freundlich. Wir assen als Vorspeise die Brote mit Speck, dann Ossobucco mit Polenta und Spanferkel mit Risotto. Zum Dessert gab es Panna Cotta und ein Tiramisu. Als Wein tranken wir einen Merlot aus dem Centovalli. Das Essen war fein und typisch für diese Region.Die Preise sind fair."
