"We were a little early for getting into our holiday rental so popped in here on the off chance of getting a table. It is always very popular due to the gorgeous view of the river. We were in luck! We were shown to a...great wee table just at the garden and under the canopy for shade. We were not wanting a full three courses, however the two menu de jour were fabulous value. We just opted for a main course each, I had pave steak and a mushroom omelette took my husband’s fancy both came beautifully presented and cooked to perfection!! We washed the food down with some cool rose wine and it was a superb lunch. A strawberry Melba to fish off as well as a lovely strong coffee. The staff are very efficient and friendly, the toilets were very clean and tidy, it was all as we remembered it from last year."
