"Not been to this pub in years and we live 15mins up the road. A friend told us that they had been recently and had a Sunday lunch which was beautiful. Mysekf and my family had been on a day out and I rang on the off chance to see if they had a table. The gentleman I spoke to was so kind and accommodating and when we arrived an hour later he showed us where to sit. The Sunday lunch was fantastic and just what we needed after a busy day. The desserts are amazing especially the brownie. Really generous portions and extremely affordable. Would definitely recommend a visit."

"Antes de salir de compras en llamado para evitar comprar cerca de lidl cuando tienes hambre! Tenía seis pulgadas en pan vegetariano 9 patty trigo grano como vi que es rica en calcio y Vit D. Este Metro está bien organizado la ensalada es fresca y el personal están en la bola!Tenía el especial con una copa y un aperitivo un capricho en un donut y té. "The staff were lovely and could not do more however, there were only 2 staff on and they were very harassed although they their best not to show it. The starter was excellent but The prime burger was very dry with a very sad piece of lettuce and tomatoe on it.. the chips were lukewarm. The dessert was average and we were only offered other drinks quite a while after we had eaten. We decided not to stay for tea and coffee. We used to eat here very regularly and always at Christmas but I don’t think we will be back for quite some time."

"for a super tasty and fresh, kebab or pizza made for them, right in front of their eyes, this must be the best that they in warrington (and they deliver) only clean personal and business. there are so much meat and salat in a standard kebab the lid on the box not closed when hunger, I find a standard kebab is about as much as I want to give them starving. billy, 2022. 04/06/22, welcomed papa john pizza shop, looked at the menu, 16.50 pence for a 10 inch hot spicy pizza, (too expensive) returned to Turkish to taste their pizza, for the first time wow 8.20 pence for exactly the same pizza. that was not a pizza plate, it was a firm, tasty cheese and toppings. that must be the best eating in the warrington and surroundings. why double pay for something that is unbeatable for quality, taste and value for money. Turkish joy for me every day what a super eating experience, thanks, billy."

"This was the third time we came to the Smoke House and I have to say firstly the positive points: Very nice clean restaurant Ambiance is very good Staff very friendly Not so good points: I came for a family occasion and my wife, children and I were taken into a back area seating when there was plenty at the front and this area was cold (not sure why we were seated there) Starter of Italian sausage was warm, not too hot, and sauce tasted like it was from a jar. Main meal took way too long to arrive (The waitress apologised for the very slow service) Ordered a 1 1/2 rack of ribs which were over cooked or old meat not sure which but even my 10 year old who loves eating ribs said it was chewy and tasted awful (if they had been as they should have, then probably the waiting time may have not been such an issue) I was not asked how I liked my burger cooked, but to be fair I never said either, but it arrived like it had been blow torched to a cinder and the lettuce on it was old discoloured (I did mention this to the waiter on the way out) The order of nachos classic was more just nachos with very little of anything else. Now, to be fair, i would say that the last time times we visited the waiting time was not so long and only issue we had was that we had to point out we were overcharged which was corrected immediately. The staff are extremely friendly so this is more about the restaurant experience as a whole. Way to expensive for the quality of food. Thank you"

"Came in one night after work. Ordered a salt and pepper noodle box. When they cook on the stoves there's a pool of dirty water where the chef was casually dipping his ladel into and adding it to the wok. Noodles tasted very odd and I'm not surprised seeing how they were cooked using that dirty water! Very bland. Overcooked chicken also with a funny taste. Will never come again. Can't cook to save their lives!"

"I'm here last week. we had a delicious hot roast beef sandwich and coffee. today again for coffee and a disc lemon drop cake. it is a brilliant sound and personal are super friendly. a bonus, our dog was out welome. we'll call back when we run our dog. "Me and my partner have been to The Black Swan several times now and each time I hope it's going to improve but sadly it never does. We went for breakfast there this weekend and considering we were the only people in the whole pub...the food still came out barely lukewarm so it had clearly been sitting out under a heatlamp I assume. The lady who served us seemed nice enough but another person came in halfway through our visit and was stood in the reception area talking to her and the miserable bloke who I assume is the manager, meaning nobody came out to give us the bill so we had to go to reception to pay. Considering we were the only people there you would think they would be a bit more attentive but apparently not. We went to pay at reception and the sour faced bloke didn't bother to apologise for the fact we had to go to them, he didn't even crack a smile or make conversation, he is SO rude. The last time we came here for tea we were about 5 minutes late because we struggled to find a space in the carpark and he literally told us off like we were naughty school children, it was really off-putting but I was happy to give the place another try but after this weekend I don't think we'll be returning, his miserable mush is enough to put anyone off spending their hard earned cash. Pity as the place could be fantastic with the right staff."

"Returned back here, as we have had good meals in the past, ordered the tandoori starter which was quite small compared to previous visits and wife ordered the fish starter which was very oily. The mains were not great either! Lamb vindaloo was paultry and wife's salmon course had been deep fried and was drowned in oil again, the waiter was constantly coming over trying to strike up conversation which was OK but when your eating a little refrain would have been appreciated"

"Very dissatisfied with service received, ignorant and rude staff don’t know the meaning of good customer service. Manners cost nothing, after waiting to get served in front of a woman and three screaming children running around I was asked to move over to the other...side of the bar as I’ve went to move over closer to get served this disgraceful woman behind decides to barge past to go in front when the staff member was clearly talking to my self but instead of saying anything continued anyway to serve this woman. After 10 minutes of standing by the bar which was fairly quiet anyway I managed to get served by the staff lady who must of left her manners in bed if she ever had any who advised very abruptly that certain things on the menu they did not have instead of saying what they didn’t have and was just being blunt, turns out they never had half the food advertised on the menu. Just sat down to wait for my meal now an 3 young children allowed to be gunning around screaming , parents not bothered and nor are the staff members by the looks of it. Will defiantly not be coming here again !!"

"We dined at this restaurant two nights in a row during our weekend getaway. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed a delicious chicken burger, a tasty goats cheese and roasted vegetable flatbread, an amazing ultimate burger, and the largest gammon steak I have ever seen. The entire staff, including our waiter Alan, the women at the bar, and the friendly manager (whose name I unfortunately did not catch), were all wonderful. The portion sizes were generous, the ingredients were clearly treated with care, and we left very satisfied. This restaurant definitely deserves to be more popular!"

"Having been to the establishment previously, and discovered it to be quite good I decided to return with two friends on Saturday 10th December 2022 for breakfast. I was surprised to note that when I arrived that there weren 't many people around, and more importantly, no-one eating. That should have warned me! My order was taken quickly and indeed the food arrived very shortly after that. Unfortunately, that was where any allusion to customer service was evidenced. My bacon was cold, as were the baked beans and when I pointed this out to one of the staff she turned to the 'manager ' and said, There is a complaint about the food. The managers reaction was to walk to the opposite end of the restaurant and promptly disappear. Similarly, my friends dishes were sent back and were returned stating that they should be OK as they had, 'been probed!? ' At no time did the manager reappear to address our complaints or anybody offer the merest of apologies or offer to discount the meals. Quite frankly I was appalled by the attitude of the staff and will certainly never again entertain the prospect of going there again. Interestingly during our stay I didn 't see anyone else order food, and as it was a Saturday morning perhaps the bad news had travelled regarding it but sadly had not reached me. I know that recently Wetherspoons have announced the closure of several of their businesses but would serious suggest that they include this on in the cull and do the discerning public a massive favour."

"First time order from this takeaway and it won't be the last. Curry's were full of flavour and loads of chicken, we had Dupiaza and Bhuna, both were very tasty. Mushroom rice is delicious but the Keema rice is the best I have ever tasted, just perfect. Onion Bhaji was authentic and delicious and the perfect starter. To accompany the meal we had Keema naan which were very moist and tasty, perhaps just a little more meat in them to make them better. All that for under £30 and if you download their app you get 10% off every time. Delivery was quoted as 45 mins, delivered in 30. All in all, very happy with our Friday night curry, best in Warrington?? Maybe!!"

"I would like to thank them to the front of the house and kitchen staff that two close joint visits make a really great experience. the first visit was a great success. I ordered the oxtail starter and the sirloin with extra strong cheese sauce. I personally thought the starter was okay, but the steak decided to do it. alex, the waiter, was great, he was friendly, but not too friendly. my friend had the grilled Hispi cabbage and the ice, but asked for vegan. that was not a problem. I had the Sticky toast. thank you, Alex. the second visit I had was very light, tasty and my main was the booze and my girl fire had the piece of the day, no puddings for us as we were filled. I would also like to thank the staff at the evening service on 30 May. especially for the young woman who served all the tables we could see."

"Beyond poor. Booked a table, arrived at said time and the restaurant was half full so no issues there. Was sat down and told we would be Brough menus. Waited ten minutes and a waitress came to take our order...we said we hadn't even had a menu yet! She grabbed menus, we chose quickly and ordered quickly. The waitress said she was flustered and very busy but did not allude to any abnormal wait times. We ordered a bottle of wine which was delivered promptly, but with no ice bucket or similar to keep it cool whilst we drank it over time. It was also advertised as barefoot but we were delivered a different brand with no reason or apology and it did taste cheaper. After waiting half an hour we noticed the waitress apologising to another table which was near us. We then went to ask how long food would be and we're told it would be another 40-50 minutes! On top of the 30 we had already waited. At no point had anyone come to our table to tell us this or apologise for the delays. We were travelling by train and the extra time would have meant eating in a rush and missing the last train so paid for the wine and left without food. Additionally during our visit I used the bathroom which is in an appalling state. Parts of the sink unit were hanging on. 2 of the 4 toilet cubicles don't shut or don't lock and one was blocked and overflowing. The 4th one was OK but cleanliness was poor. Considering this was around 8.30pm and the place wasn't busy it's clearly not just happened that night. I understand that places are short staffed due to covid isolations. But don't take bookings, or tell people that there is a very long wait on food, or offer apologies and complimentary drinks etc."
