"Visited on Sunday 24th March at the end of the lovely walk in Saturday's23rd March EDP, parked the car in the pub car park and spoke to a lady (Serina)explaining we were doing the walk and hoped to eat with them afterwards. She helpfully said that the kitchen closed at 2.45pm, we arrived back at around 1.15pm, and enjoyed a 3 course meal for £13. The food was very good, haggies balls followed by roast pork in my case and then syrup pudding and custard, all delicious and served hot. So I recommend this pub which is a little gem hidden away, clearly by the number of locals there it is well appreciated."
