"Three stars for the food and minus 2 for the service. Upon arriving we informed our host that we picked this restaurant as our only dining experience in Seville since we were only staying one night. We knew it was tasting menus only as we had to choses which one of two while reserving online. When we noticed more appetizing options on the menu we didn 't choose, our host allowed us to change our original choice, provided we both had the same menu. From that point on our host/server was rushed and unhospitable. He quickly placed each course on our table with a quick description and dashed off to his post (so not necessarily to serve others). When we asked for clarification on specific dishes he appeared he didn 't have the time or desire to clarify. To be clear, we are both Spanish speaking, but still needed him to slow down to communicate clearly with us. We were able to order additional drinks and water by waving him down. At no point did he check in with us to ask how we were enjoying the dishes or if we needed refills. At dessert he paced back and forth at our table looking at my friend 's plate to see if she would finish. This kind of auto-pilot service did not match the otherwise creative and delectable dishes worthy of a Michelin star. The peach ice-cream with shrimp and coconut garlic sauce was one of the most wonderful things I 've tasted. The hazelnut souffle was special too. But we will opt for a place with more natural hospitality next time."
