"The evening menu is priced according to your choice of main course. I opted for the mid price menu which was €28 for 3 courses plus a glass of wine. The tasty chicken Caesar salad I had as a starter was substantial and unusually presented...on a shallow long plate. It consisted of half a lettuce baby gem perhaps cut horizontally and left in its entirety drizzled in dressing and strewn with char grilled chicken pieces and sweet baby tomatoes. My main dish was a slow cooked lamb dish with humous and tiny cubes of mixed root vegetables. Small delicate portions but richly flavoured. The lamb was gorgeous. I found the humous a little overpowering. My friend had a fish dish that she said was cooked to perfection and very fresh tasting. For dessert we both had the chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream which again was set out on a long dish beautifully and garnished with physalis and strawberries. The brownie had a wafer thin crisp outer housing a gooey dark chocolate nutty naughtiness that just about polished us off! We could not have ate another scrap. The service was polite, friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is pleasantly decorated and very clean. We were actually staying at the hotel and had we been staying longer would definitely have ate there again. Drinks prices are good with a glass of wine only costing €3.50. Apparently they do a 3 course lunch menu for only €17."
