"I visited this cosy café at Passeig Mallorca in central Palma for a quick bite. It opened recently but I had never been before, so I thought it was about time to try it! The café has open doors so it invites you to come...in and check the beautiful modern design and all the cakes and pastries on display. As soon as we came in, we were acknowledged and greeted. There is some sitting space inside but we decided to stay outside and enjoy the nice weather. It has a well designed menu with a lot of options, ranging from pastries, cakes, sandwiches, bagels, foccacias, crêpes and cold cut meat platters. I have a sweet tooth so I went for a slice of their maracuja cheesecake (which I had never seen before and a latte macchiato, which unlike other popular places, it is a large glass of milk with a bit of coffee, so if you like your coffee milky, definitely try this one! My friend had a cream cheese and salmon bagel, which I tried and I can say it was delicious. They serve it toasted and comes with a selection of sauces. I was surprised by the service, we were served by a young woman who was smiley, fast and efficient. She even stopped after we had tried our food to make sure everything was good for us. Restaurants and cafés in Palma (and Spain in general) are not known for its customer service, so we thought this place stood out! Value for money was great taking into account the quality of the coffee and the food we had. We paid 10€ for the coffee, cake, bagel and a drink, so very good value! Just a recommendation, I think it'd be good to extend the breakfast offer to the early evening as well, as it would be great to enjoy a coffee and a pastry for about 2,60€, or a coffee and a cake for 3,50€. I hope to be able to visit earlier next time to enjoy one of their extensive breakfast options!"
