"Lovely department store with great selection. HOWEVER, I was DELIBERATELY OVERCHARGED at the Sandro counter of the El Corte Ingles Serrano 47 today, 7th January 2020 around 8pm. There were two girls there who very clearly deliberately overcharged me for a purchase of a blazer. The two girls spoke for a while whilst I was making a purchase at the counter and were perfectly friendly so I did not over think it. When I noticed later in the night to do my tax return, I went back to the counter. Before I had even spoken, they exchanged looks again, and knew exactly what I was referring to. It was only 20 euros, however, it is really unacceptable behaviour. Cashiering accidents occur all the time, and it is fine to make mistakes. However, the deliberate and planned actions here are quite unacceptable and I just want to warn any tourists make clear to management, the kind of situation that is occurring in their stores. The end result was that we were refunded the 172 euros we paid, and paid again the 152.50 of the jacket. All is settled, however it reflects quite poorly on the brand and store."
