"Without a shadow of a doubt Chivuo's Slow Street Food Craft Beer was one of the best bars we visited on our resent eight days holiday to Barcelona. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, a cool modern edgy interior with great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar. This bar has an absolutely fantastic looking meal menu and a great range of craft beers on offer,it really is a fabulous place to unwind. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a roasting hot late Saturday afternoon, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff ,as we had just ate we were only here for drinks, after a quick study of the beers on offer we both opted to start with an IPA style beer from Espiga Brewery, these were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in, our beers were served with a big bowl of crisps which were delicious and went with our beers so well. My IPA was absolutely delicious, a hoppy ,well balanced beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink and a beer style I really enjoy, while enjoying our beers we already had our next beer picked out and again we chose an IPA style beer, this time from Edge Brewery, again we were served an absolutely fantastic brew, a classic IPA beer that was just so good. On this visit I cannot really comment on the meals as we were only here for drinks but I must say that the meals leaving the kitchen looked and smelt delicious and on our next visit to here we are most certainly going to sample their meal menu. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit we were very impressed with this bar. Chivuo's Slow Street Food Craft Beers is really easy to locate on Carrer De Valencia in the L'Eixample District. Opening hours are; Monday, Open from 1pm. Tuesday, Closed. Wednesday to Sunday, Open from 1pm. A great craft beer bar and well worth checking out."
