I sent it back and instead tried the soup, which was just average. It was clear that the fishcake had been overcooked and burnt, possibly prepared hours before. My friend ordered the Chicken liver pâté with carrot and apricot chutney, and toasted bread (no mention of mushrooms on the menu). She found a suspicious-looking slime on her salad, which turned out to be a mushroom when she asked the waitress. Overall, the experience was not great, but we had no issues with the dessert and hot drinks."
