It wasn’t open. 6 of us arrived and there was a closed sign and no explanation. Unacceptable

They ran out of almost all their wine and food items! The service was quite poor, with long waits. It's a shame because the venue is beautiful to look at.

This wine bar is excellent. They have a great variety of wines available by the glass. While the food menu may be limited, the quality is fantastic. The staff is welcoming, and the atmosphere is laid-back and cozy. Ver carta

They didn't know that we had a reservation. They said that they didn't accept it reservations by the internet. And we did it. They didn't have food menu for dinner. So, we couldn't have dinner and had to find another place

I had made a reservation for dinner, but when I arrived, I was informed that the kitchen was closed for renovations and no food was available. It would have been appreciated if they had called or informed me beforehand instead of just showing up and being told the kitchen was closed.

I would like to give a proper revue but upon arriving at the restaurant to find it was closed, there's not a lot I can say. It was a very special occasion and I went through all emotions from anger to very disappointed in about 2 mins. I can't for the life me understand why such a highly rated establishment didn't let people know it was shut is beyond my comprehension. Totally spoiled my weekend in Oxford. Whether it was your companies fault or there's doesn't really alter anything. I received the booking confirmation which was ludicrous!!! I've booked the Savoy in November, which went through you guys again, I trust it will be open upon arrival!!! Ver carta
