Nice food but slow service at times. Very cold heating in restaurant which spoilt the evening

Lovely meal, very friendly and attentive manager and team the food quality was great and well prepared it was a fantastic moment for us and our grandparents celebrating their 69th anniversary we will certainly be back. Thank you.

I Stop here for lunch and dinner when I’m staying. Food has massively improved !! Absolutely spot on with the menu choice, variety and flavours in the dishes. The Chef is doing a fantastic job and I Will be back. Well done to the Team.

Great rooftop restaurant very comfi seats over looking at the airport and the planes taking off and landing through their large windows. We had a lovely meal for our grandparents 69th anniversary there the menu was varied from comfort food to more grastro options all very well prepared and presented and of good quality. The team was attentive and friendly the manager Simon runs a smooth operations there we very must enjoyed our evening and will be back. Thank you.

Lovely food, particularly the roasts! Unfortunately let down by the terrible service. It was painfully slow! We were essentially ignored the whole time had to wave the staff over for absolutely everything, and ask for absolutely everything, including children's menus. We were never asked if we wanted any more drinks and ended up going to the bar to order, where we overheard the staff joking about how bored they were. Only about 20% of the tables were taken, so they were not busy at all. Really disappointing.

I ordered the chicken and ham pie which came with one tiny broccoli floret. I asked for more, and was told that the chef was preparing it, but it never arrived. No explanation, it just didn't turn up, and after about 15 minutes I couldn't be bothered to ask again as I'd finished my meal. I then had sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was a small piece of sponge, with no sauce, which resembled something from the school dinner counter. There were a lot of us (25) but the gaps between courses was also ridiculous. An hour between mains and dessert. I had a lovely evening with friends, but won't be returning to this restaurant.

Just returned home from having a delicious Christmas lunch with 3 friends. Starters was a very tasty prawn cocktail. Main was turkey with all the trimmings and cooked to perfection I have to add.... my compliments to the chef!! The service was extremely good. The waitress was very pleasant and cheerful. Nothing was too much to ask. The venue was amazing ... clean and airy with beautifully decorated Christmas trees. The atmosphere was very calm with a good view of the airport. This was my first visit to the 1930 Restaurant and I would certainly recommend to friends and family. Thank you for a very pleasant time and happy Christmas to you all xx
