After a week of barbecue, this place was a welcome finding.

it was a beautiful little restaurant with very friendly staff and excellent eating

It was over hours before the plat and it was cold and we could see the kitchen and no one was hustling. We have had such an experience in France We left without getting the whole menu.

We were here for my sister's birthday with other members of family. The staff were excellent and very helpful with one of our party who was in a wheelchair. The lunch menu used local produce and cooked fresh in house. So it may take a...bit of time. But hey .... you are in the country of slow food. One note is they don't have many tables so book first. I tried to book on the Internet but they hadn't received my reservation request. So best to book by phone.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked in beneath cloud lanterns. What I found was a warm welcome, an interesting menu and an excellent meal. The decor is modern and relaxed, as are the owners, who took the time to explain each item and answer our questions. The food is original... from a soup made cheese and wild herbs to a lovely risotto with seasonal vegetables... (vegetarians would certainly be happy)... or a tart made from nettles and fresh goat cheese followed by foie gras topped veal. There is something for everyone. In a town packed with traditional Périgord cuisine, this is a refreshing choice.

Wow. Me and my family just visited this restaurant this evening and it’s the worst meal we have ever had, and we have visited all standard of restaurants all over the world. The service was poor, half the menu was not available and there were...no soft drink options available whatsoever. All the food either came out cold or half warm, not a single item was hot. The steaks that were ordered were all completly over cooked, and inedible. One of our main courses came out almost minutes after the rest and no apologies were made.
