A Great Little Place

Went for a Saturday lunch with my partner, I had a wrap and my partner had a ploughman’s platter, which we both really enjoyed. Lovely coffee served by friendly staff! We will definitely be visiting again.

We had lunch in this nice cafe on our day trip to Southport and were very impressed with the quality of the food and the service. And with the 50% discount with the Eat out to Help out, it was a really positive experience!

Covid times make operating a cafe difficult- however the team here did a fantastic job yesterday. Busy but acknowledged on arrival followed by a perfect level of attention. Can’t fault Suggestions a menu for the autistic where items are served separate?

We stumbled upon this charming restaurant and had a delightful experience. My friend and I enjoyed tea and scones, which were absolutely delicious. We were visiting Southport for a two-day trip and may not return for a while, but if we do, this restaurant will be our first stop.

This will be my go-to place next time. Every aspect of it was good. Eat inside or out. Nice area outside in the sun/shade. Far enough back from the traffic. Busy but not noisy or overcrowded. Just the right price. Great range of quality food. Particularly recommend the Ploughman’s Platter

We had another fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. Both of us tried the specials of the day, which were pork, stuffing, and pear chutney sandwiches served with salad and crisps. The meal was absolutely delicious, and we also enjoyed a great cup of coffee. The staff was friendly, efficient, and we always look forward to coming back for more delicious meals.

We popped in for a quick lunch....place was busy but quickly we had our table cleaned and wiped and ready to go! We ordered one of the specials -roast beef with caramelised onion and cheddar melt- great choice as panini was very tasty and good quality of beef..my friend had homemade soup full of flavours delicious. We decided to have a cake between us as they are generous with slices and price was good.. Overall our visit was very nice...service great! Everyone was so nice and happy to help.Nothing was a problem-good idea with water jugs on the side-so staff could concentrate on service rather than serving tap water. I visited Southport for the day and saw the positive reviews for this cafe, so I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. It is a fantastic cafe. I arrived about half an hour before closing, so it was very quiet. The staff were following Covid guidelines carefully and were friendly, polite, and provided excellent service. I appreciated their efforts. There was a nice selection of cakes and drinks available. We asked for our drinks to be extra hot, and they were made perfectly. Not true all the time when it is perceived or part of the truth. Never not true when it is (the whole) truth. I ordered the beef sandwich. I explicitly asked for no mustard. The sandwich came with mustard, which consequently had to be changed. It was accompanied by a derisory portion of salad and a small bowl of crisps. The beef was processed meat, tasteless, and bad for your health. It was terrible. I thought the dessert might improve things. In fact, it got worse. My cousin ordered the chocolate cake which was cut so thinly it was insulting and tasteless, I asked the young girl to cut my Victoria sponge more generously which she did. I asked for cream.
