"Very good, delicious, classic Alsatian dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed the Choucroute, Baeckstoff, and Tarte Flambé, with a pitcher' ltr) of wine....local Riesling. The service was excellent! They squeezed the two of us in, without a reservation, at the busiest time of day! And,...we had great, friendly service at our table. They did not allow the language differences to matter for a single second. We all smiled and had a really nice lunch/dinner."

The waitress, Olivia, is a real character; just gorgeous. The tarte flambée forostiere was delicious, with a very thin, crisp but tasty base. Despite there being a group of having a birthday lunch, we were looked after well on the terrace at the front....Toilets very clean.

Hello, despite the world that took this first evening of the Christmas market, we were greeted in an irreproachable way despite our great half hour ahead. regional dishes perfectly cooked and copied, kindness of the boss, this restaurant allowed us to finish our stay on an excellent note. Thank you.

the restaurant is a business as furnished with little room for decoration, with all menus on large school boards on the walls, between mirrors. eating and service are good. the wrong filet was just as good as any real filet. in the Covid time they checked the QR codes. we were in eds just in time, since later all the tables were booked.

We were eating in this restaurant on a Saturday night at five people. We were placed in the first floor room. the property was complete (the ground floor room also). our dishes were served quickly. the plates were copyy and the delicious dishes we ordered false-filet with mushroom sauce, pork stock, fish and birch coke; all accompaniments were also very good. all this for a very correct price.

"L'Alchemille is a 1 star Michelin restaurant located in the Alsatian village of Kaysersberg. The menu here is a surprise, you just get to choose between 5, 7 or 9 course. The chef will gives what what he wants, what's fresh that time in his garden, and what he feels like cooking. I like the element of surprise so it wasn't an issue. Before you're asked if there are any ingredients you don't eat, or if you have any allergies,Service is good, not so much fluent in English but in a way or another you get to communicate. Wine list is good and includes wines for everyone's budget, somellier is more towards selling expensive wines, but he knows his job.Dinner kicked off with a bottle of Cremant,a nicely presented amouse bouche and fresh bread, It then followed with a variety of dishes which included potato mousse, beef tomato with basil snow. deer tartare, salmon, mustard zabaion, pigeon leg, munster and 2 desserts. The star of the night was the beef tomato with herbs and basil snow, followed by the pigeon with glazed peas, carrot puree and pigeon juice. To finish off we were given some petit fours, not bad but it can be improved. We later had a chat with chef Jerome Jaegle who surely has a passion for what he does, and no wonder he was awarded a Michelin star, his creativity on a daily basis is something few can do and maintain such a standard.Total came to around €130 including mid priced wine, 9 course is reasonably priced at €78.If you're in the area, it's a place you'd love to visit. I'll be back."
