Abokado - Carta

Had a really great porridge for breakfast here. I have not been here before so cant comment on the rest of the food. Staff seemed friendly and polite.

I had the soup and a cold press juice. Soup was good and the juice was very good. They have premade food ready to eat. Just pick it from the counter and pay. Both cold and hot meals. Not too pricy.

Tasty food and reasonable prices for London. Their sushi is very nice! Great for take away or for a quick lunch. Their location is very easy to find as well; just 2-minute walk from Old Street's underground station. Ver carta

Nice informal dining and take out sushi packs and hot dishes. They do a good deal in the evening with a third off. The seaweed pots are really nice and only 50 calories a pot, there's also nice salmon sushi packs and they do these little seaweed wraps with various fillings that are great on the go.

Hot food is prepared onsite so it is relatively fresh. The soups are hot and tasty and the lunch entrees are quite filling. However, I do recommend that you pick up some additional sauces as the base dishes do not come with any. So while my dish was full of flavorful veggies, it was rather bland without the sauce. The prices are reasonable and the service is quite good.

I love sushi and usually use other chains for my sushi, so nice to find a new restaurant. I had a great katsu for a change. Most people were eating big tubs of noodles, which looked fab. Staff efficient . The only downside was the music was deafening, maybe a sign of my age but it lunchtime and not a nightclubs. People could not talk or hear themselves think!! I was really disappointed by abokado. I had chicken katsu with rice and maybe sushi rice works for sushi but it does NOT work as a side dish even with sauce the meal was lacking flavour and the textures didn't go together right, it was like random foods lumped together. It also didn't quite fill me up either. I've been to abokado a few times and it NEVER fills me up and it never tastes that good why do people go here?!

My preferred spot for sushi lunch, been here a fair few times. The food is always lovely, the prices are average for a London lunch shop, and the staff are quick and friendly. Best sushi I've had from places like this (pre-made takeaway)! They do 25% off past 5pm (used to be 33%, which is a bit of a let down). Try the Super Omega 3 set, it includes goma wakame, which I'd never seen before I came across Abokado. It's delicious!

I happened to be at Old Street for a hospital appointment and needed to have a quick lunch. I discovered the pub I often use had changed and the menu was not so good, I passed Abokado, It looked interesting so I went in. It's a fast service take away and eat in. I ordered what I wanted and the guy who took my order went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. The food was delicious and the coffee good too. I was using a contactless card to pay something I don't often do so am not that familiar with the process. When I checked my bank account a couple of days later I realise i had been charged twice. I called the manager and he called me back later and immediately refunded the... Ver carta
