It was an amazing experience. I have been at this restaurant in the past and the quality has been always good and consistent. I would definitely recommend the place to all.

Great place to go. Very quite. Very good hospitality. Very cosy for nice dinner. Food is delicious. Very traditional. Many options for vegetarians. They could do vegan as well. Very much near to beautiful Vondelpark. Easily accessible. Must try in Amsterdam.

The food was average, the service pretty bad. The lady already got a bit mad because we hadn't made our choice when she came to ask. At the end, they pretended it was not possible to pay by card because the machine was not working today. When we insisted we'd have paid only by card, after 10-15 mins, the guy pretended to call the service to see what was not working on the machine. Magically, after exactly 1 minute, the machine was correctly working again. It was our second time in the restaurant because we liked it the first time, but after today we won't go anymore.

Stumbled upon this place with three friends on a trip across Europe and so happy we decided to stop. Clear favorite meal of the trip. Highly recommend sharing the big special, was a little pricey but totally worth the price (about €18 per person) in both quantity and quality. Tons of food, everything delicious. Every time someone ate something new they would remark you gotta have the _____ and they were always right. Also- try the mango beer. Really surprisingly good and fun to drink out of a bowl. Owners were incredibly nice and attentive. Would go back again and again.

Visiting the city with friends, and as we were searching for an open restaurant, we stumbled upon this gem!! I'm from a city that has excellent Ethiopian food, and this lived up to those standards. Delicious, flavorful, and rich food, huge family-style portions weren't even the highlight. What really inspired me to write this post was the incredibly kind woman who served us. She was so sweet and motherly; it really felt like a warm home-cooked meal. Oh also, they have adorable outside seating with cute tables and benches. Get a glass of the white wine too! So glad that we stumbled upon this place, will definitely be a must next time we're here :
