"Good and cozy. The Gutsausschank Adler has a long tradition and is equally popular with locals and visitors to Wicker as the “gateway to the Rheingau”. A reservation is therefore highly recommended, especially in the beer garden under the chestnut trees. The dining room inside is quaint and cozy. The menu offers the typical dishes of a Gutsausschank, plus one or two daily specials. Our onion schnitzel was tender and juicy, the fries were well fried and seasoned. The beef salad and the rump steak with onions and fried potatoes were also convincing. The wine list includes almost a dozen simple but tasty wines, probably from the local area. The price-performance ratio is right. So if you want to enjoy delicious, uncomplicated and comfortable food and drink, you should stop by the Adler. Parking: Own parking lot at the beer garden, with limited capacity. It is difficult to find a free parking space on Taunusstraße. In diesem sehr gemütlichen Lokal gibt es gutes Essen und guten Wein. Wir waren 7 Personen und alle waren zufrieden. Das Rumpsteak war perfekt und super zart. Wir hatten vorneweg ein Schneegestöber, es war aber fast zu viel. Eine Flasche Riesling kostet 11 Euro, das Rumpsteak mit Kräuterbutter und Pommes 16,50.Wir werden bestimmt wieder dort essen. Ich muss sagen das Essen war super, mein Rumpsteak mit Pommes war total lecker.Vor allem kamen die Pommes heiß an den Tisch.Meine Begleiterin hatte Schnitzel mit grüner Soße auch das war super gut und sehr sehr lecker.Die Bedienungen waren sehr aufmerksam.Nur leider darf hier der Vierbeiner, der Hund hier nicht rein.Das Ärgert natürlich jeden Hundebesitzer.
