One of the nicest curry’s we have had in a long time, asked for authentic style and were not disappointed, the chef was excellent and service was fantastic.

Wonderful spot, definitely surpasses some of the negative reviews. The amiable server elevated the experience. Delicious food and bring your own (BYO) option, highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our meal here, great range of dishes, tasty food, fresh and zingy, good use of herbs and spices. Excellent friendly service. Brought our own beers, and had a lovely evening. Best wishes from Leicester Ver carta

Just had a lovely meal in a sadly empty restaurant. The young man who served us was lovely and we had a great chat putting the world to rights. Food was great and reasonably priced. Thank you Aftab,we will see you on our next visit. Kelly and Paul

Dreadful! What's happened to this restaurant? Food overpriced. Tandoori king prawns weren't even cooked in a tandoor oven, horrible and rubbery. Oh and no menus if you visit and toilets not clean like they used to be. Has it changed hands? Such a shame.

I revisited this restaurant in December 2023 and was incredibly disappointed with the decline in quality. There were no menus available and the food was not up to par with my previous experiences. It's a shame to see such a decline in this establishment. Ver carta

Never had such bland tasting tandoori king prawns in my life! No flavour, no juices (you always get a bit in the tray) and no shell on the tail! I even dispute they were cooked in a Tandoor oven! No menus either which is ridiculous! What if people didn't have a mobile on them! Used to be such a high quality place, food spot on but it's definitely gone downhill. Won't return.

Update: November 2023. It appears that the restaurant has a new chef. I am 100% certain of this. Unfortunately, the Tandoori King Prawns do not compare to how they used to be. They lack the delicious Tandoor juices, the shell on the tail, and they are not charred enough. I am very disappointed, especially considering they cost £14 for a portion and I had to travel half an hour to try them again. The Lamb Balti was acceptable, but lacking in spice. I requested a mild dish, but there was literally no spice at all. It was quite strange. I am not sure if there are new owners, but we will not be returning. I wonder where the previous chef has gone, as they definitely knew how to cook. Additionall...

Firstly booked over the phone , on arrival told we did not have a booking, although the restaurant only had 7 diners , he made us wait then said ok, After sitting down we ordered it was 8.15 by now, a couple came in and said sorry we are early we booked for 8,30 is it ok, which the waiter replied oh I don’t think so we close at 9pm, after some arguing he let them stay, then another couple came in at 8,30 and was told no we shut at 9 pm your too late, We looked on the website and it stated they close at 9,30, What Indian restaurant closes at 9.30, When our food arrived it was wrong I ordered Tandoori chicken tikka but got Tandoori chicken on the bone, Which was dry and lacked flavour, All the...
