"The tea and food were delightful. The venue was exquisite. However, the service left something to be desired, especially with the price tag of a minimum of 75 pounds per person for afternoon tea. We had ordered another drink, that was never delivered but then we were charged for it at the end. We also ordered secondary sandwiches that were never delivered to us but were given to another table. Lastly, another table’s cream and tea were brought to us, poured in a cup on the table in front of us and then taken away upon realizing the mistake and then placed on the table across from us. We gave our orders to one waiter but then it was carried out by a different waiter who kept getting it mixed up or wrong. For the price tag, this was a disappointment."

A wonderful experience, the afternoon tea was to an exceptional standard and beautifully presented. Denis our waiter was very professional and attentive. Can’t fault it except we did realise that a service charge would be added, but the service was faultless.

Afternoon tea with a glass of champagne was a truly luxurious experience. The space is beautiful. The service is impeccable! The tea selection has a good variety and the four teas we tried were wonderful. The sandwiches are tasty, the pastries were little pieces of art, each distinctly delicious and not too sweet. The scones were just right. We were both very pleased with the entire experience. Worth the money for a special occasion.
