Afternoon Tea At The Orchard Room

nice eating and personal, but super slow and disorganid was better a few years ago when unlimited champagne and introduction to tees. .

this nicholson pub has the good standard food and drinks tariff, the ability to order via app on the table, and many seats. the toilets were fairly clean down and tables generally clean.

The ambience and service was excellent. My friend and I got the meat sandwiches and unfortunately got stomach upset immediately whereas my other friend who got the vegetarian option was fine. So that was really disappointing but otherwise would have been great. Ver carta

the sandwiches were excellent with the ham ochdar and the cucumber mint stood out. I also enjoyed the skorn. under the cake was the jam very good. the outstanding thing was the selection of the tees and the very knowledgeable waitresses. top quality service without being overlaid.

we had a really great afternoon and I would highly recommend the experience that eating and service were excellent the only scandal was to say that we could not take away the remaining cakes. it was nicely handled, but a little disappointing- my suggestion is to take their own takeaway box

The Orchard room was amazing, the service was impeccable and very friendly. The sandwiches were great then the hit freshly made scons came and they were a delight. I would highly recommend this place for a elegant and wonderful time. The kids also would catered for even when they were fussy nothing was too much trouble. Ver carta

Really good value champagne afternoon tea at the Conrad St.James. Plenty of sandwiches and some little tartlets, which were delicious, warm scones, and a good selection of cakes. Happy to refill the tea too. Difficult to finish it all! Only slight criticism was the music was on a loop and the same song was being repeated over and over!

We’ve been to the Conrad for Xmas afternoon tea every year since 2012, and this was first trip with our children who were old enough to experience and have to say was disappointed… sandwiches were stale the desserts were bought. Also didn’t have especially good Xmas decor in the orchard room… didn’t make for the special occasion we had booked for sadly.

Booked afternoon tea as a surprise for my Mums 80th birthday for 6 people. We was given a warm welcome on arrival and had a wonderful table in the orchard room waiting for us. The staff were very attentive and kindly catered for my Aunt who only likes plain food. The Afternoon tea was wonderful, sandwiches so fresh, lovely onion tartlets we’re so delicate, cakes were amazing finished off with warm wrapped scones , clotted cream, strawberry jam and lemon curd to die for. We sat down at 1 o’clock and didn’t leave till 4.15 as we was having a fabulous time.
