We had the best carbonara we’ve ever had! And the service was great, very nice place with a warm atmosphere and a familiar welcome from the staff, we feel very lucky to have found this place in Rome and would definitely recommend it!!

After visiting every corner of the magnificent capital, after enjoying the beauty of the monuments and tasting the gastronomy of the characteristic rooms, we returned today to try this new place. immediately struck us the width and light of the room, the display of wines on the walls, the courtesy of the staff. I'm in Rome with my college choir on an international tour. After our performance today, some friends and I went here looking for some food close to our hotel. The moment we entered, the staff made us feel so welcome. The restaurant was clean and welcoming and we were seated right away. The menu was in Italian (we are all English speakers) but our server was so helpful, pointing out the English menu option and making sure we knew what we were getting. The prices were affordable and the food was wonderful. We each got an entrée, side and dessert, as well as water and wine for the table. I wish I could truly summarize in a few lines what a marvelous and unforgettable dinning experience my family and I had at Al Caravaggio. Suggested by an Italian friend, celebrating my birthday somewhere else would have been just not the same. Marco, its manager, was splendid!
