"We travelled to Roth from Brentwood in Essex and booked to eat at Al Castello on our second night. We can honestly say that it was as good if not better than any Italian meal we had ever had. We regularly eat out in London...and the surrounding areas and have eaten in a few of Jamie Oliver's restaurants and even Murano, amongst others Al Castello was better! The food was immaculate in its authenticity, packed with flavour and the homemade pastas were superb. We stayed in Germany for a week and ended up going there times. Would recommend to anyone who loves their food!!"

Of you visit Roth close to Nuremberg and are looking for an excellent Italian, you have to go to Al Castello. Here you will find native Italian food.

really beautiful Italian restaurant. pizzas fab, most beautiful bark carpaccio I've ever had. friendly waitress translated the specials board into English. the restaurant was busy and there was a good atmosphere

we are here several times. the staff works hard to provide an excellent service that eat is of high quality, menu varies to all taste and cook the meal to perfection. highly recommended as one of our top restaurants. well done al. team they deserve the recognition.

was here in business and really enjoyed eating here. the food was very well prepared and the service was also very good. I ordered a whole fish and was surprised that they came before us before they were excellent in our teller. service! I only regret that I could not see from the city that seems beautiful.

This restaurant is located right next to the castle as the name suggests. We definitely enjoyed our visit and the atmosphere it is a very cute and cozy restaurant. The food was fine, but nothing particularly memorable (we had a pizza and a paste...dish). I would go back if I was in Roth, which is a rather small town, but would not go out of my way to come back here.

during the summer it is quite easy to get a table without reservation because they have a very spacious area to eat outside in the back restaurant. it is covered by a huge tent, so that the sun does not meet you. there is not much...of a look, but overall the ambiente is beautiful. there were like or different tables, and only waitress. the bartender would try to help waiter if he was not busy, but overall the service was very slow. also the waitress was not rude, but she was quite right forward to order one. not friendly.
