It could be traded for tourism but, at least in my opinion, it is not at all. there are tourists at the tables, it is true, but they are tourists who chose to eat Venetian cuisine in venetian (and not the classic pizzas or the classic pasta dishes). I recommend sardines in saor and the liver in venetian, exceptional dishes. Jonathan makes a difference. absolutely recommended place."

We had excellent meals 2 separate nights while in Venice. All of the food was fantastic. The best… octopus salad and the risotto. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

The best place we ate during our stay in Venice. The staff was amazing as well. I would eat there nightly if there weren’t so many places to try and of course if we had more time. Ver carta

As we wandered back fro a tour of the Doges Palace we came across this quaint restaurant. We decided to give it a try as we were hungry and wanted to get out of the rain. What a pleasant experience. Lived the atmosphere, the service was exceptional and the food was some of the best we all had. If you are in Venice I would say to put this on your must stop list. So good!!

We ordered a sliced lobster and a steak with potatoes. the steak has a little disappointed me because it was very thin (it seemed more to a fettina than a steak). for desserts there is little choice, or tiramisu or cream. compared to the price is salty, but is justified not so much by the quality (which is however good) but by the strategic position of the local. courteous staff. small but nice restaurant, great food, honest price to be in venezia (you are in venezia as you know so, if you want to spend little go to mestre). very kind and friendly staff, since we were the last customers offered us prosecco at will, black cherry and various cicchetti, we had to greet them otherwise we would not be able to find the door to dare to offer us a drink. the owners are legends, we will definitely return.

What to say. this restaurant and simply to recommend . we stayed in venezia for two days and the first evening we went to the corner by chance. happy with the food and service we decided to go there also the next evening, simply because there we had a great time, welcomed and spoiled. In addition to the good food we have hit the kindness of the staff, attentive to the needs of the customers and always with the smile. thanks to all the staff
