Consumers have been advised to reduce our salt intake for health reasons by governments and all medical experts and most people have followed the advice at home, but we find restaurants still add a little too much. Because we’re now used to less salty food in normal circumstances it’s very noticeable when there’s a bit too much. That said my main course of cod with beetroot and samphire was splendid."

A delightful evening, Excellent food. Charming and attentive service. Sophisticated ambience. We will go back whenever we are in London. And it is right around the corner from the excellent Jermyn St. Theatre.

Very good Italian, pasta is perfect and delicious salad and puddings. Good wine list, lots of choice and varied price range.. We had a lovely table and it wasn’t too noisy, which many London restaurants are. Staff were first class and the service was too. We will definitely be returning

Sadly this repeat visit to Al Duca was disappointing in the lack of prompt service, alongside the food presentation and quality. As a hostess for a business luncheon I was somewhat embarrassed especially when the interior table was horribly noisy and outside cast a bit of a chill by default. Tagliolini arrived broken not in strands and vitello tonato with a gloppy sauce. Sorry to have had this experience when past lunches were more savoury.
