"I came hear with my family we were 8 total and we had dinner here the ordering was a bit difficult because only one of us spoke perfect Italian and the other a little but after we ordered we were very happy with the food it was from good to very good the problem came at the bill since it was a lot more than expected I doubt it the calculation but the lady kept arguing and since my math and Italian did not help I stepped out and calculated all and was sure there was a mistake I went inside and with the help of the Italian member asked for a detailed fattora reset after many calculations and about 20 mints of recalculations the difference was returned to us 121 euros I hope this was only a mistake but many of my family think not Any way the reason we have these reviews are to warn about such things just be carful specially with large groups"

The place sits on top of a hill of Lake Maggiore. We came with friends as two of them were gluten and lactose intolerant and they told us this place offers gluten free meals (which is the case as the owners are very sensitive on this matter). The place itself is a nicely hidden gem particularly if you want to have a private night without too many people around. The owners are very kind and they let the children sit on a separate empty table so that we could continue our conversation. The food is typical mountain local food simple but delicious, and promptly served. I would definitely recommend it for those who want to stay off the main paths and just want to enjoy a bit of peace.
