"I wanted a good lunch with a friend before I headed off for Orio del Serio to fly home. He lives in the città alta and rarely dines in the città bassa but we decided to try this place. Because I had been stuffing myself with various types of meat for three days, and because he is vegetarian we were slightly anxious to avoid too much by way of salame, but the vegetarian options were extensive. This is a great place to try local dishes and wine. We tried both the casoncelli and polenta (taragna) here. It came as a recommendation from our hotel receptionist and we were not disappointed.
