The only thing stopping me from giving me this place a 4 star is that we got stuck with a grouchy waitress.

We've never been disappointed here, on the occasions when we could get in at allIt's in the GFG, and you can taste why.

The food was outstanding and the restaurant was really nice but unfortunately the service needs to be addressed, Perhaps a bit of 5 star training to match the food would make this place the experience it deserves. Ver carta

Over priced menu. Nice food but expensive and the atmosphere was a bit quiet and sterile. True, it was a little out of season. Service was OK but we had to ask for a few things and a change of table. They were accommodating but at these prices I expect not to have to pick up on these details.

the restaurant canceled our booking on the day we had to go about unforeseen circumstances. we were on holiday, and this should be a special evening, we were so excited to go on. because it was so short, we could book somewhere else, we were very disappointed that we did not disappoint last minute.

we enjoyed a great cabaret in the form of a grandstand view of practice night in the local lifeboat station. all kept (with a window seat) entangled. the fixed price menu is a good value, the fish fresh, the wee reasonably priced and the personal attentive, without being there on what was a very quiet Wednesday night. exactly what we wanted. Due to it being such short notice we were unable to book somewhere else, we were hugely disappointed not impressed with being let down at the last minute.

booked by opentable and all confirmed. also on the left side of the restaurant answering machine. Travelled specifically to the restaurant only to find it closed without a declaration. even opening times at the door said it should have been open. no answer from the restaurant to later perform. would definitely not recommend and would not use again opentable, unless in the position to confirm directly with the restaurant that defeats the whole object of opentable a very disappointing experience!
